I just got off the phone with the concord distribution centre and they said the truck won't come in today so SOL to Monday. My tracking still says clearing in progress

Your origin scan is Canada, so your iPhone is coming from stock Apple pre-populated in a warehouse here. You should definitely get it today. (but, the lack of an arrival scan since? Me, I'd be calling them to find out where it is).
They'll deliver in the cities up to 9pm, but I wouldn't let it slide without an "out for delivery" status in place.

If you were given TODAY as a date from Apple, then call Apple and bitch. You'll either get a Saturday delivery (if you're in a city) or maybe a gift card....or both.

If you didn't get today as a date, then you're just whining. :)

Called apple earlier. They said all ship dates are estimates and it'll hopefully come Monday

Not sure how telus and canadapost handle their deliveries. FedEx just delivered on me of my phones. Previously it said by 12pm. Then changed it to by 9pm this morning. So even if they changed it, you're more likely to get it today.
 
I got my phone about a half hour ago... I need to get a sim card for it now, ha... maybe I should switch carriers while I'm at it.
 
In my case, Apple is blaming it on UPS and UPS is blaming customs. I'm blaming UPS though, because you shouldn't try to clear customs on such a razor-thin time crunch. Their logistics need to be better than whatever the hell happened today.

There's a reason they said 25-29 as delivery date.

The postal code lookup thing was an estimate only.

While I empathize, Apple is still onside getting them to you on Monday.

Phoning Apple and complaining about it is pretty lame, IMHO.

And no, I don't have my UPS delivery yet.

**** happens folks.
 
Agreed entirely. However, the delivery date from UPS itself for me was the 25th until their mistake early this morning. Monday is an easy wait, I'm just intrigued when a business can use the "oh, oopsie!" excuse for a miscalculation.

After seeing so many other stories of the phones showing up at people's doors before a destination/delivery scan, I'm not too concerned yet. The estimate is Monday, so if the status hasn't updated by tonight I'll give them a call.

I feel the same The same as tealshark. Pretty super ultra gigga lame! But who's knows maybe it will some hoe show up.

I'm not one to ever defend UPS. Had my share of bad experiences with them and always drives me nuts that they deliver so late in the day when FEDEX, Purolator and Canada Post almost always get me stuff before noon.

They're moving a lot of Apple product today. I have never seen a launch where everyone is happy with the end result. That's clearly why Apple uses a "window".

The launch day shipments always have this happen. I have one more 6s+ coming on second round. Was told Oct 7 -14.

Latest track on that one (currently in Hong Kong) is Oct 1 by end of day.

It all evens out. ;)
 
Well, just got off the phone with canadapost and basically was told i have to wait till Monday even though the item is supposedly already "on truck to be delivered." This is why I really hate dealing with canadapost...

Chances are, a lot of the sorting has already been done at time of shipping in China. Don't panic people. It's a phone after all. Not an organ needing to get there ASAP for a live transplant.

I'm probably a bit more relaxed for a different reason. The 6s that just arrived is probably going back. I was really unsure about whether I'd like the 6s + so I ordered the 6s too.

I was annoyed that I missed the first round of shipments for the 6s + so I also made a reservation for this morning and am typing this on a new 6s +.

This one is going back when the other one arrives. Haven't even taken the plastic off it and it went right into a Spigen Tough Armor case. It doesn't have AC+ on it so I'm super paranoid. The one coming on Oct 1 does.

I know it doesn't make you feel better, but these phones are worth the wait. It'll all be over soon. :)
 
Spent a rather long time in the delivery truck, but it finally made it!

That blows. Canada Post always delivered before noon to my house. UPS arrived at 3:15 or so today. I've had 7 PM deliveries many times.
 
WOW UPS didn't even bother to ring my doorbell I have a gate but you can clearly see that my car is there, they stuck the sorry we missed you sticker on my mailbox... now I have to wait till it gets delivered to my local UPS Access point. :( such a bummer.
