I just called both UPS and Apple. For those with the UPS exception showing in their tracking who live in the Toronto area, UPS and Apple say deliveries are rescheduled for Monday. UPS was blaming Apple, and when I called Apple the customer service agent said that something went wrong in UPS' system and required a second customs scan which is what is holding up delivery. UPS said all the trucks have been deployed and the agent said she was 99% sure it would not get delivered today.
 
Still no UPS truck for me either....i can't concentrate on work!!!:( i want those phones damn you.;)

My friend who lives in Richmond Hill got his delivered at 11:30am by UPS.
 
I have one 6S coming from TELUS with Canada Post, another 6S coming from Apple with UPS. If both screw up, then I have a reservation for a 6S at my local Apple Store. There is no way I'm not getting my 6S tomorrow.

So I missed the UPS truck by about 15 minutes...
When I came home, the Canada Post truck was outside. I rushed into the apartment and got my TELUS one from the delivery man!
 
1 Phone has now delivered, yet UPS never even changed to "On truck for Delivery".

Now the wait for the second one. Doubtful it shows up today considering it's not showing as being at the hub yet. Second round of deliveries leaves around 1:00pm.

were you able to find out if we can pick these exception units up from a depot somehow?
 
Was wondering what model did you guys get A1668/87 or A1633/34? I got A1668/87.
It is model A1688, I am not sure how to tell what the last two digits are. It is a 35 week iPhone 6s, space grey, 64gb. I actually ordered it a week after pre-orders started (I had originally ordered the plus but cancelled it). So I am pleasantly surprised I got it on launch day.

I think I may have taken someone else's good luck :oops:
 
I'm pretty annoyed after using the rerouting service through UPSs website. I chose the nearest location by me, where packages are always dropped off after they see I'm not home (since I'm working today and figured they could skip the step of going to my apt first) and now the delivery date is scheduled for Monday. Super frustrated.

I called after reading ur msg. Nippon is Chinese a dis the broker for those of us stuck waiting here in Mississauga they have a warehouse here. We won't see our iPhones until Monday, almost guarantee unless appl does something and takes action.

they status changed as i was just on the phone with them, they said delivery is on monday. concord will be the next stop and when i see that as a destination scan i should call them back and they will **attempt** to send an urgent message to the centre to hold for me to pickup tonight.
 
Mine is still saying it will be delivered today (by end of day). It is saying "In Transit" with the last location being Lachine, QC at 10:48 am. I will be surprised if it does make it here today

Still waiting on the 6s from the boys in brown (slated for 3 PM which is when they normally deliver to my home office).

Not to fret, had an amazing experience at local Apple Store this morning. Had a 8:30 - 9 appointment to get a 6s Plus, SG, 128 GB. They came into the lineup around 7:30 and checked me in. They took all the 8 - 8:30 people first and then took me a minute later.

I was out of the store with my unlocked phone. Took it home and restored from an iTunes backup then updated to 9.0.1 and have been in business ever since.

I definitely love the Plus so far. It's looking like the 6s won't even get unwrapped. Heading back to Apple in the next two weeks.
 
Finally got mine about an hour ago. Tried to restore from iCloud backup but there was already an Apple ID in there (something@yandex.com, which I gather is a Russian company). Very strange. Called Apple and they had me do a restore, which of course failed after an hour of trying. Now trying to do a second restore but have 45 minutes remaining!

I don't know what's worse...not having your iPhone be delivered yet, or having it delivered and not being able to use it!
 
Just received mine at about 1:55pm EST in Ottawa (Kanata) via UPS. I had mine pre-ordered within the first 4 minutes of pre-orders.
