CANADIAN iPhone 7/7+ Pre-Order Thread

Order confirmation email: 3:08AM w/ Delivery for Sept. 16.
Checked order status at around 4PM today, noticed my payment info needed to be updated, quickly updated and about 30 mins later my status changed to Preparing for Shipment.

iPhone 7+ 128GB Black. Shipping to Richmond Hill, ON.

Good question. I feel like there's still launch day line ups? Or maybe they were trying to avoid that recently?
 
Has anyone in Ottawa who placed a pickup in store order had their order go from processing to preparing for shipping?

Hi all, I've made a pre-order on apple and one with Bestbuy today. From anyone that has experience ordering from bestbuy, will I get my order on the first day if I'm the first person to pre-order at that specific store? Best Buy doesn't want to quarantee that I'll get it on the first day of release.

Mine is still showing as being processed and I got my order in at 3:02am. The site tells me to check in at the Upper Canada Mall between 8:00am-8:30am on the 16th so I'm assuming its guaranteed that it will be there at that time.

They must know how many of each model will be sent to each store, which is why the in store restoration system switched some models to "currently unavailable" when they ran out of stock for that store.
 
I ordered the elusive 7 Plus Jet Black 128GB right off the bat, less than a minute after I was granted access to the store on the iPad app. Email confirmation received at 3:04AM; delivers to Ottawa 27 Sep. - Oct 4. Not too bad for the hardest to get model.

I've had good luck in past years reserving at 12:01 AM the day after launch day for in-store pickup. If I can get one for the 17th, all the better, but I'm not willing to compromise on the capacity or colour.
 
I hope any of you who plan to use Bell as carrier checked out their iP7 rate plans. I did not preorder but did check out what the upgrade would cost if I locked in and the plan cost increased $53 / month over my present plan that is not available if I change.

Currently shopping Telus and Rogers for options.

The $50 plan I'm on with Virgin is now $130 a month. That's why I always buy unlocked :p
 
Happy to be on Wind with unlimited data.

With the iPhone Upgrade Program I'd be even happier.

Anyway, just double checking that no one getting in-store pick-up has been charged?

I have a pending charge on my Amex for the full amount, but I paid using Apple Pay so that could be why. I also didn't go through the reserve and pick up site, I added it to my cart and selected pick up in store as my shipping option.
 
I completed my order at 12:05 am PST but there was no option for me to choose in store pickup here in Vancouver. Was anybody able to actually choose in store pick up for the 128GB Matte Black 7+ in Vancouver?

Oh ****, I did that too. Thought they were the same thing.
 
Ordered through Apple Store app, 3:11am confirmation for Matte Black 128GB Plus. September 16 delivery and paid through Apple Pay.

Order still processing... I'm expecting it should switch soon
 
There's lots of talk on the main pre-order forum of people getting their shipping bumped up to "expedited". Has anyone here tried and/or was successful in doing this? Or is that a US-only thing?
 
128g Flat Black iPhone 7 changed this morning to:

Preparing for Shipment - Delivers 16 Sep by Standard Shipping ... destination is Mississauga, On.

My SS42 Watch is still processing .. Ships 6-8 business days.
