CANADIAN iPhone 7/7+ Pre-Order Thread

I think that's mostly for people who missed out on the launch day shipments and are having their orders delivered a week later, they requested expedited shipping so they won't have to wait that long.

Apple usually instructs the shipping companies to hold all deliveries until launch day but in the past a few have gotten through.

I suspect the watches are already in Canada and will change to prepairing for shipping later this week.

iPhones are probably still in China waiting to be shipped.

Hmm ... Hope so ... I was in the store at 3:06 and got my confirmation at 3:17 ... wonder if supply destined for Canada is low on some models.

That's the thing. My JB 7+ is supposedly part of the "first group" of orders, delivering Sept 27-Oct 3. If you ordered any other colour than Jet Black, you could've gotten guaranteed Day 1 delivery. Unless supply is so constrained for this model, it's a little disappointing that ours may not be here by coming Friday.

Hence me asking about the expedited shipping upgrade. Just curious if anyone has tried asking for it.

I am not expecting any package other than my iPhone, and UPS My Choice tells me this package is coming on Monday and was sent yesterday. I'm freaking out :O

Wondering why mine would still be stuck in processing. I should be part of first shipment since it's expected 16th... hmm

They'll hold the package for delivery until the 16th.
 
Those that selected pickup option, since apple asked for our credit card information already. So, we already be charged before picking it?

I paid with Apple Pay for pick-up option. In my Apple Wallet, it shows the full amount under "Last transaction". However, there's no pending transaction or transaction in my bank account yet. My order also shows Processing items. Maybe we will be charged when the order status changes?

Apple charges when your item is preparing for shipment.

Shows the same for me under recent transactions in the Wallet but still nothing on my online bank account. I did however shift to Preparing for Shipping. Hopefully Monday wel get some mroe updates.

For reference I ordered 128gb Black Iphone 7 plus - Delivery Sept 16th

I paid with Apple Pay in the App Store App as well and am in the same boat. Shows last transaction in Wallet, but nothing with my bank. I have used Apple Pay at stores and had to use my card because the transaction was too much (over $100) I think, so I wonder if a $1,500 transaction through Apple Pay might cause issues. I am on the phone now (on hold for 30 minutes) with Apple to see if changing my payment method to Visa instead of Apple Pay will change anything.

Yeah, same boat here essentially. From the research I did, there should not be a limit on the size of purchase on Apple Pay. It should coincide to whatever you limit would be on the credit card. That is what should theoretically should happen, but who knows.

For me, I purchased with Apple pay and for some reason the Billing Address on the confirmation was incorrect. It looks like Apple Pay defaulted to my Home address as designated under my profile in Contacts. I was told this should not make a difference as long as when i registered the card the billing info was correct.

Please do update us. Would appreciate it.

Let me know if possible. I was on hold with Apple for an hour earlier and still didn't get anyone and had to take off.

My transaction doesn't even appear in Apple Pay. But on order shows paid with it. Hopefully it's all good.

I was able to chose in store pickup for the 128GB Black in Vancouver (and still am actually) but for the iPhone 7, not plus.

Originally it was from 8:30am-9:00am at Richmond Centre, now it's slipped into the afternoon.
 
I switched from the + to the 7. I wasted all day deliberating, but I'm happy with my decision. 7 is preparing for shipment.
