CANADIAN iPhone 7/7+ Pre-Order Thread

I got my order in for in-store pick-up on the 16th. Will I be charged at the store?
 
I am correct in assuming that if I am doing in-store pickup that if I got my "Your order is being processed W5XXXXXX" email and it includes pickup location and time that I have my phone reserved even though I don't have a QR pickup code and haven't been charged yet.

Is that correct?
 
Just noticed they billed my mastercard 1300ish balance gone so it seems for sure i will get it on the 16th

iPhone 7 Plus, 256GB, Black. Order confirmation email at 0305h EST. Credit card not charged yet. Status is "Processing Items" and delivers on the 16th to Milton, Ontario.
 
Mine (128 Plus Black from apple.ca at 1:08 MST) just prepped for shipping.

I also ordered a 32GB Plus Black on the same order and it's saying Sept 29!!! WTF! Had I known the 32GB would be so backed up I would have ordered another 128 instead.

Very interesting how things went this pre-order. I feel the 6 launch was smoother.

What did your original shipping estimate say?
 
iPhone 7 plus. Jet black 128GB. Ordered through telus at 106am pst. Order estimate is 4-6 weeks. Has anyone else seen that and it went to preparing for shipping?
 
Mine has also gone to preparing for shipping now.

Iphone 7 plus 128gb Black.

Maybe it's a temporary authorization? Maybe they will charge ahead of time. In the recent past though, when reserving a phone for in store pickup you paid for it at the store. For example, at the 6s launch I reserved online and then when picking it up I purchased the phone through a carrier hardware upgrade.
 
I am wondering as well coz I used Apple Pay at check out and linked to the wrong billing address, not sure if my order will get cxl because of it.
 
Does anybody know why my items all listed as Processing Items in the apple store app? Apple still hasn't charged from credit card yet. Is it normal?

My black 128GB iPhone 7 just went preparing for shipment and has now showed up in my support profile.
 
Forgive me if this has been answered already.

Am I correct in saying that Apple no longer offers devices for walkins without pre-order on launch day?
 
Ordered mine on the iOS Apple Store app and got my confirmation at 3:10AM.

iPhone 7 Jet Black 128GB
Delivers 27 Sept :-/
