I bought my watch from T-Mobile and am on Simple Choice Unlimited. I get stuck on this page every time.

Having read the horror stories on this thread, I went through the setup process for my S3 LTE I just picked up from the Apple Store with trepidation. During setup I didn't even disconnect my iPhone from WiFi - I was prompted to enter the last 4 of the primary account holder's SSN (my wife), then agree to a bunch of legalese, and cellular was set up. Quick and with no errors.
My whole family is on T-Mobile ONE.
I activated my new S3 LTE fine. Went out for a run and I could receive texts and other notifications on my watch via LTE, but I cannot make calls on the watch. Anyone else having this issue?
I can’t activate on my postpaid unlimited plan either. Called t-mobile and was told the same thing: the problem is affecting watches bought directly from Apple and is Apple’s fault. They said Apple would be issuing an update within 72 hours and once I see my watch get an update I should try again.
Side note: I tried disabling WiFi and still wouldn’t activate...
Has your issue been resolved yet? i'm still unable, though now rather than just a 412 error message i get a 412-A " Billing address on file cannot be systematically validated. Please call care to update your billing address prior to retrying"
When I called Care, they wanted top transfer me back to Apple.......
Try removing the cellular plan then adding it back from the Apple watch app on your iPhone, that has fixed my issue.I activated my new S3 LTE fine. If only some of us could get them activated in the first place!Try removing the cellular plan then adding it back from the Apple watch app on your iPhone, that has fixed my issue.
That's great to hear! Thanks, that worked for me.
Are you on a business plan by any chance? If not and you're on a personal plan, try to unpair and pair the watch back. If you're on a business plan, I believe it's a known issue. If only some of us could get them activated in the first place!

I believe that's the case too; and I hope Apple and T-Mobile can fix the said issue asap.Yes, on a biz plan. T-Mobile support is a little clueless on this. The person on Twitter support this afternoon suggested I remove the pairing from the phone and redo. The issue is really they can't handle the tax ID. I'm pretty sure they don't have my SS number as the Prime account holder
how often are you really planning on not having your phone with you? I mean, this issue is almost inexcusable but still, the watch is fully functional for the 98% of the time most peoples phone is in range.I hope this can be fixed quickly. My Nike+ arrives in a couple fo weeks and I’m not interested in keeping it if it cannot make or receive phone calls...
That he ordered a Nike version makes me think he will be out running often without his phonehow often are you really planning on not having your phone with you? I mean, this issue is almost inexcusable but still, the watch is fully functional for the 98% of the time most peoples phone is in range.
that makes sense, good catch. i just visualized people trying to run, surf, etc, and take phone calls at the same time. It'll be interesting to see how the use cases of LTE actually pan out. I honestly don't even see myself keeping LTE.That he ordered a Nike version makes me think he will be out running often without his phone
My iphone stays home everyday because my edc is Samsung. This LTE will come in handy for me.that makes sense, good catch. i just visualized people trying to run, surf, etc, and take phone calls at the same time. Did you get your watch to activate? Is it actually working without an iPhone?

Sounds like you'll get your money's worth out of that $10 monthly fee then. It sucks because my fee will be $15/mo because autopay maxes out at 8 lines, and I pretty much always have my iPhone with me. Almost doesn't seem worth it in my case. I almost wish I could pay as I go.Approximately 6 days a week. I run, a lot, and never carry my phone with me. I don’t have room for it amongst the other things I carry.
I’m not buying a LTE watch to tether to my phone 98% of the time.
Yes, the watch works without the iphone. I had the iphone off with no SIM card and I was still able to make the phone call to my wife while I was sitting in my car parked on the side of the road.Did you get your watch to activate? Is it actually working without an iPhone?
