I’m also buying the Plus/Max version since 2014.
My main reason for the big screen is Waze since i own a older sports car without proper navigation. Second reason is i connect to my NAS remotely and i use desktop mode so i can have a full UI.
BTW I dont watch videos or listen music on my phone and i take a picture once a month so i do not benefit from the improved speakers, better camera and so on that the Max offers compared to the smaller one

There is literally no difference between the 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max except the size, weight and battery capacity.

I've played with both in person and could really tell the difference in Safari (not so much in portrait mode as in landscape, where I have TweetDeck open and am swiping back and forth checking out feeds). Didn't open iBook, but I'm thinking with the sharper/brighter screen, that would be a bit easier on my eyes (as all my reading is done on my phone for the most part).

Am crunching some numbers, but with what my carrier's wanting to give me for my XR, I might just say 'screw it' and pull the trigger.

13 Pro and Pro Max have the same screen. Only difference is the size of it.
