iPhone 13 Pro Max Can’t decide 13 pro max or 13 pro!!

I went back and forth with both when they were released ultimately settling on the Max and haven't regretted it. Yes, there are some times I wish I had a smaller device like when im holding my son and trying to type with one hand but for the most part I'm loving the Max. The weight still bothers me at times though when I'm watching a long video and holding it for a while. I just hate that Apple didnt drop the Alpine green earlier I would have definitely got that lol

pro max for me. OR the mini lol. I tried the pro for a week and it just felt like a clumsy in between. Too big to be comfortable one handed without the battery and large screen benefits of the max

its the best compromise size for most people i think, but to me it just feels compromised

i miss the 5.8" size. for my hands that was the ideal size where my hands could fly around the UI, swipe type easily with one hand etc.
So true I think! I have both the mini and max a good combo!

I’ve just realized that I like the ability to be able to one hand the smaller size, BUT, I’m torn between the 13 vs the Pro.

$799 vs $999, and I’m sure my pictures with the regular 13 would be indistinguishable to 99% of ppl than from the Pro.

Apple likes to price things so as to steer you to the premium models. I can choose the iP13 but when I choose unlocked sim, it adds $30 so now i’m at $829. For a $170 I can have a Pro and for a $100 more I can have the ProMax. If I had to choose i’d go with the Max every time as the resale or trade in value will be higher by $100 so you’ll get that back.

As far as size, I have average man hands and I don’t find any of these phones that large. In fact all of my phones are in the 6.3” - 6.7” and I still find them manageable. I even use them one handed at times. So the ProMax would be no problem in size. My Pixel 6 is basically the same size as the 13 PM.

Apple try but more people seem to go for the standard models even if the price difference is £200. Stretching the extra might be worth it for some but the regular models are also good devices and at the top range of some budgets. I can’t say I’ve regretted not going for the Pro to be honest.

I went from a 12 Pro to a 13 Pro Max. Definitely worth it to me since at my age my eyesight ain’t what it used to be.

I also use it with an armband for running and haven’t had any problems.

Get 13 Pro!
I regret buying 13 Pro Max big time.
I’m used to large iPhones but 13 Pro Max is just too bulky, too thick and noticeably too heavy!
It’s really awkward to handle.

Again I used to have Xs Max,7 Plus,6 plus and a few Galaxy Notes before this one but this thing is a brick.

Ignore these fanboys they don’t know nothing go and try it for yourself if you find it heavy and bulky, you’ll never get used to it.
It only gets worse.
I’m happy to pay another 200 to trade it with a 13 Pro.
It’s Form factor sucks.

So did you switch it for a 13 pro then?

I left the iphone (5s) and went to large android phones. I came back and got the Max Pro and for size, it works very well for me. However, if I were a one-hand user, it would be a miserable fit. It fits my shirt pocket as well as other pockets and for that, it is also a winner. Candidly, I could get used to just the Pro but the Max Pro feels right to me.

Once the 13 Pro was confirmed to have the exact same specs (battery aside) to the Pro Max, my mind was made up. Always found the max too big for my hands, find the Pro hits that perfect spot. Obviously it's all personal preferences - you can't go wrong with either.

Battery life has never dropped below 20% for me so far on the Pro and it gets some amount of use on a daily basis. Charged each night with the old 5W charger.

I went with the Max Pro and have since regretted it. i love the large screen size but it’s quite large to carry around everywhere

Had the 11PM. Loved it but thought I’d like the 6.1” 12 pro better so I got that. Was gonna hold out till the 14 but when the green came out I had to get it as it’s my favorite color apple has ever made. Instantly went to the 13PM and I don’t regret it. Sticking with the larger phones from now on but plan on keeping this till there is a major update.

Had this dilemma for months and went with 13 Pro in the end. Much easier to use with one hand when out and about. At home I primarily use my iPad, so the Max’s big screen is redundant.
