Max or bust.

I tried the Pro for 2 weeks, no comparison in battery life and the bigger screen is it for me. YMMV

I’m still using an iPhone SE first GEN and I want to upgrade to something larger and I’ve been debating for a while now between the max and the pro and still can’t decide lol.

I like that my SE fits easily in my shirt pocket but the terrible battery life and super tiny screen is almost unusable. The maxes battery and nice display would be fantastic but I get the feeling the pro would fit easier in the pocket. The age old question pocket ability versus battery life.

Both awesome phones. I went with the PM for the larger screen and battery but I could have slummed it with a pro as well if I couldn't get my hands on the PM.

I was for the PM but yesterday I changed my mind: I used the Apple Audio Adapter with my in-ear and the PM is so high that the Adapter constantly hit the leg while walking, so all of a sudden the adapter does not give sound anymore and now it doesn't work!

I went to the apple store today to compare I wanted the pro, the premix naked isn't much bigger but add a case it does get big, I actually thought the larger screen looked a little better, the blacks were blacker. But today I had a chance to get a regular pro, thou with 1gb instead of 512, I went for it, I think the extra pocket ability will be worth it.

I’d prefer the max to be slightly smaller too. I think 6.4 inches would be an ideal size, but even going back to a 6.5 inch display would be better than the 6.7 inch. I’ve pre ordered the iPhone 13 pro max which is being delivered tomorrow and I’m still having doubts and thinking I should have ordered the 6.1 inch 13 pro. The 6.1 inch is a really good size to use with one hand and it’s more comfortable in the pocket of my jeans. I just can’t get used to the 6.1 inch display. I’ve tried using my friends iPhone 11 and everything felt very crammed in. If I went with the 6.1 inch 13 pro, I would use my phone much less. I’d just use it as a phone, instead of my device to do pretty much everything on. Which could be either a pro or a con for me.
do u regret buying it now?

I'm in a similar boat. I've got two lines and I used one to get the 13 PM and the 2nd line to get the regular 13, because I loved the starlight color.

But I dig both really. At times, the 13 feels too small and the PM feels too big. Just wish they would have made the 13 in a bigger size.

I got the new green in the PM, because that's all they had. Is it too petty to want to exchange the PM for another color? Lol. Want the silver but Noone has it in stock.

13 Pro for me. No matter which way you look at it, the PM just isn’t pocket friendly…and there’s no way I’m carrying a man-purse..

Had the 13 pro for 6 months and I loved the size, especially being able to use it one handed but I recently went back to the 13 pro max for the ease of typing and battery life.

It is just me, the pro feels heavier than the Max in the hand?! With the Max I never thought or really felt that the handy was heavy as with the Pro.

By the time you decide, the 14 will be out and the dilemma resets
I have gone back and forth a couple times.
I have decided on the Max and look forward to enjoying it. As for the 14, not even part of my decision. I don’t upgrade every year. If I want to though, I will.

I went with the 6.1” size. I had the 11 Pro Max a couple years ago when it came out and ended up losing it on the bus as it fell out of my pocket. I replaced it with a regular 11 pro and realized how much better I liked the size. When I went to the 13 I knew I wanted the 6.1” size. 6.1-6.3” is the size sweet spot for me I’ve found.

pro max for me. OR the mini lol. I tried the pro for a week and it just felt like a clumsy in between. Too big to be comfortable one handed without the battery and large screen benefits of the max

its the best compromise size for most people i think, but to me it just feels compromised

i miss the 5.8" size. for my hands that was the ideal size where my hands could fly around the UI, swipe type easily with one hand etc.

Been using a regular 12 for 6 months, frankly no issues with it other than a bit light on the battery but no huge issue for me, it's an excellent size. Picked up a 13 PM a couple days ago to try it out, it's nice but I could care less about Pro-motion and frankly while the bigger screen is nice it's not as huge feeling as I thought so when I switch back to the 12 I readjust almost instantly. Likewise when I go back to the PM I get used to that right away too!!! Will keep the PM for awhile longer to see if there's anything that grows on me. I was going to hold out for the 14 but it sounds like a mediocre update as usual; if any of the rumours are true it sounds like the 15 might be the better goal.
