The 7 is actually closer to the perfect size for me after using phones with "4.7-"5 during the last 3.5 years. But I was surprised how quickly I adjusted to "5.5. Ten years ago, I used to carry a Sony PSP phat with a hard case in my pocket. Briefly, I carried a PS Vita phat. So I guess my adjustment period went smoothly considering those were bricks. Remember, I owned Sega Game Gear and that was thicker than a Nintendo Wii.

The weight is probably the only issue but it is really no heavier than those handhelds or Sony Walkmans I used to own and I do use holster cases anyway. Imagine how bulky it would be carrying a Nintendo Switch around? So for me, iPhone 7 Plus. Would like the sharper screen, 2X optical zoom, and extra RAM. With that said, the beauty here is we have three size options between SE, 7, and 7 Plus. Anyone can decide to downsize or upsize. Having choices is a beautiful thing.

I switch between a Moto E ("4.5) and Note 3 ("5.7) right now. There is a 2cm difference in height. I will also use an iPhone 6 Plus as a loaner for a couple of weeks which is taller than the Note 3. My hand(s) can adjust to each of them very easily. If you happen to use an iPad mini which is "kinda" pocketable, then 7+ should be a cinch. I compare my quick adjustment with varied phone sizes similar to shuffling my music. I can jump from any genre. From bossa nova to heavy metal to hip hop to anything. Both my hands and ears are very to adjust to variety.

I tried the regular iPhone 7 in an apple battery case and it was much heavier than an iPhone 7 plus. Quite a heavy brick, but I did like the way it channeled the bottom speaker sound to the front of the phone ( no more cupping the bottom for better sound).
