Capsule Rebel from SwitchEasy just announced.

Sorry man, maybe you got lucky and got a good one, but I know how to put on the case, I've got two black ones (one full black and a diablo), as well as one Red case. Both the blacks sag sag sag, and the cherry red one does not sag.

Its the case, not the installation.
 
It is the case, totally. Mainly the black one.

This is the email I got FROM the company:


Dear Customer,

The fault is with the material. We have one mold for all color. Only
the black case suffers from it . We are adding less and less silica to
the compound so there is no way of knowing if we fix it or just
delayed the sagging defect.
Sorry,

I can send you an other color of Rebel of your choice. Let us know.
 
just got my rebels today. Tiger and Black $15 each.
along with my car mounts $6 for both cause they
screwed up my order. IS was $4.71.
Mounts bought on amazon.com, reseller was eforcity.com
they have great customer service!

this one is staying by my BedTop(bed/desktop)
so that i can easily view the time and hear my
alarm. also it'll be able to charge and sync
because there is an outlet nearby and my
laptop stays at the foot of my bed.

this one is going to my car. both mounts
can be used with the neck or connected
to the airconditioning vents, depending
on my mood. and both rotate left and
right which is awesome. the one for the
car came with a usb cable that'll plug
into my usb cig lighter thing so that it
could charge and i'll have it go through
the casette deck for clarity.

howd they go? Do they wobble around when driving or does the neck remain stiff? Also does it rotate to landscape mode?
 
Just a quick update. I got a replacement Rebel from Switcheasy and they are for sure tweaking the formula of the black rebel cover. It seems to be a softer material and the bottom fits nice and snug. I have literally no droop or give what so ever on the black rebel I got, totally flush and straight against the bezel. That is a good thing.

Also I did a quick tweak to take care of the accidental volume changes. I took a razor blade and cut that volume cover out. Now not only does it not change the volume, but the case actually fits better around that area. before the rubber sort of curved a bit because it was sitting on that rocker, now it is totally flush. It's also kind of nice seeing that chrome accent again.
 
I just got my rebel red case and I'm beginning to like it. The only problem I have is that at the bottom of the case I'm not experiencing a sag like some other people, but at the sides I have a sag. It's revealing a bit of the chrome bezel, which is slightly (only slighty) annoying.....oh well...
 
Ok, now i'm getting a little annoyed with this company. Ordered the Capsule Rebel on monday and the only email I got was from paypal. Emailed them back on Wed to check on the status and no word from them at all. It's Friday already and I havnt receive my package. I'm only 20 miles away from their shipping facility so the shipping time should only take 1 day. If I could, I would rather drive up to their building and pick it up myself.
 
Has anyone gotten a belt clip that will work with this phone? I need to get a case and like this one the best but can't see putting the phone in my pocket all the time. Seems more likely to break..

If there isn't a belt clip that would work with this phone can anyone recommend a good belt clip case?

Check out the Seidio Innocase for the iphone - you can get it with a holster (I assume that's what your mean by belt clip but maybe not).

The Rebel fits in the Revo Clip.
 
I must add that I have experienced top quality customer service from SwitchEasy. I contacted them on the 22nd to see if I could order another dock connector cover and Zoltan immediately replied that they would send a complete replacement! Just arrived today! Amazing. For all of you considering purchasing from SwitchEasy, rest assured that they treat their customers very well. Too bad, not all companies are like this.
 
Would anybody have an extra dock adapter from the capsule rebel that they would be willing to sell / part with?
 
Rebel saved my phone

Yesterday I dropped my phone for the first time. Funny thing was, I was actually contemplating taking the case off earlier that day and just carrying it naked for a while cause I never drop the thing.

Well, I dropped it out of my hand onto my brick paver patio by my pool. It fell about 4 feet and bounced! Ouch!

Thanks to the Rebel case though, nothing at all happened to the phone. I just have a bit of a scuff on the plastic spine where it hit the pavers. Phone is doing fine.

This case is really built well. For anyone debating about this case, get it.

I have an extra that I can spare since I don't have a dock.

Edit: I somehow misread that I'm in the rebel thread, the adapter I had came with the Capsule Neo so sorry, my bad.
Someone said the adapter for Rebel & Neo are the same so it's all good.
