I've never had any issues with my iPhone or any other gadget, and I've walked through some rough areas of Manchester after nights out.

Off topic; there is a reason why Americans seem to keep shooting each other, its your ****** gun laws.

WRONG. I am a liberal Democrat half African American and half Puerto Rican who is from San Diego. I carry daily and if someone were to assualt me for any reason they will get hollow points for their trouble.

If it ever came down to it (aka i really felt my life was threatened), I'd take them down myself. With my hatred for the thieves out there and the complete incompetence of the police, I'll take my chances with dealing with the situation myself. If they die, then that's a personal problem.

Um, excuse me, I'm originally from the south and I really hate when people use south to mean ignorant, whatnot.

Secondly, you see that attitude everywhere in the country. You do realize Idaho is probably the most conservative state? Shoot, I see that attitude a lot on a motorcycle forum dedicated to the area of country I'm in, and I live in the Pacific northwest.

So no, that attitude is not special to the South thankyouverymuch.

Wow this thread went real twisted , To guns and race.

I'm a black guy who carries, either a G19 or G30 daily, today is a G30 day. If it's beautiful Thursday I'll even go to the range and use my new iphone and record me shooting my BCM AR for all you to marvel, well except those who would probably go hide under their bed :p

Would I shoot someone who snatched my iphone and ran, no. He got the best of me letting my SA down. Shooting someone in the back isn't an option, would I run him down and beat the snot out of him umm who knows. Now if the situation dictated that he pulled some weapon and screwed up and allowed me to draw mine then well the chips will fall as they may.

With that said all those of you who are going to be at the Apple, AT&T locations Thursday wait till you get home to play with your phone, not walking out of the store with your head down playing with your new toy. I'm sure opportunist will be looking to snatch what you have even more so with this release.

I'm on Bart all the time, and it truly amazes me just how casual everyone is when it comes to iPhones, MacBooks, laptops, etc. Haven't seen a "snatch & run" yet, but I'm pretty sure there a a ton of VICTIMS waiting to be victimized on Bart & Muni...:mad:

To be honest, when I hear the phrase "Snatch and Grab", theft is not the first thing on my mind.

You are ignorant. We don't have the 2nd amendment because of any invading army (although it sure made Japan think years ago).
Do your homework and you might find out that some pretty smart men wrote what we call our constitution. They were far wiser than most folks today.
