I have good news to report. I'm getting 1-2 more bars at home and probably 25% faster data. Also, this is very interesting. While on the phone I was still connected LTE. I was getting 28 mbs down while on the phone. How about them apples.

the links to the carriers and the installation guide on the website are not working for me. Is anyone else having the same issue?

I'm trying to download the IPCC Hack but I get the following message:

There was a problem connecting to the server "bellevuewa.asuscomm.com".
The file server will not allow any additional users to log on. try to connect again later.

I guess the server is full at the moment :c

I'm on AT&T. I installed per the guide but my phone never rebooted. It literally took 2 seconds. Now my About page says 20.1.5. I do not really notice any difference. Is there a way to verify the update worked?

I'm skeptical. How does one know the patch even applied? Last time I tried a carrier hack where the creator claimed to improve weak coverage, my phone still said AT&T 18.0 before, and AT&T 18.0 after.

My guess is the carrier file is designed for optimal balance between performance of speed, and performance of battery. If you increase the speed\transmission power, it'll use more battery.

Let me know how one tells if they have successfully installed it.

If it works, maybe I can peel off the 1998 antennae booster sticker from the back of my iPhone 6... LOL

Yes, by that version number. It was 18 prior to the hack.

So this allows the Personal Hotspot for Unlimited users? Seems like ATT would s*** bricks if they discovered it lol
But I'm tempted for a better signal

Two questions:

When it says "press shift and click RESTORE" is that RESTORE BACKUP... or RESTORE IPHONE... ???

Also, is it true I have to turn off find my iPhone to do this task?

bear in mind it's OPTION-click if you're on a mac.

you turn off 'find my phone' (the app itself). the rest is as the directions say... :D
