Just downloaded the app and was wondering if you could explain the Precipitation Chance Complication. Does this represent the chance of precipitation over the next hour or the next 24 hours? What is the time frame? Thanks. Great app.

That's the precipitation chance for the current hour. You can scroll the Digital Crown to preview the % chance over the coming hours as well!

Just wanted to pop in and say: Thanks for the great update! The new complications are working great for me!

Once you have stand alone weather notifications (without the Mac server being necessary) I'll be able to get rid of Dark Sky.

Dark Sky was good for me for a long time... but lately it's been really bad (slow to update, unreliable weather information, etc)

Thanks for the great app!

Before I download , what is it that has to be on a Mac server for me to receive? Don't want to get this and be disappointed when I can't have the feature I want because if a Mac server.

I want the daily temps, the forcast for the day and the "rain starts in X and ends in X features.

The push notifications currently require the Mac app - hoping to make them available without the Mac in the future, though that's a little ways off.

One more thing to add to the wish list - a daily weather summary as a notification. That's one thing I still like about the Dark Sky app.

Meaning I can't get the "rain starting in X min"?

You can get it on the complication, but not as a push notification.

That's already in the Mac app, so it'll be included as well! And it's way better than any other daily weather summary you can get on the Watch, because it's a fully native watch notification. It has a graph for the temperature and conditions throughout the day, the precipitation chance, a full text summary, etc.

I finally bought it after struggling with Weather Underground and Accuweather. I can say that Carrot loads and refreshes much faster on the watch than the other two.

What issue did you have with accuweather? They just updated to version 2.0 today. Never had any issues and its highly accurate.

Accuweather has no complications for the Apple Watch, at least when I tried it. And as I stated I found Carrot updates faster (less time spent waiting while holding up my arm).

.

So does this mean. That it doesn't update minute by minute as it's a complication?

Is it going to tell me that rain starts in X minutes and ends in X minutes for 30 minutes until it updates again? That makes sense?

I've noticed that the 3D Touch function on the iPhone part of the app doesn't update properly. Is this a known bug? Do I have to keep the app open in the background? The complication data seems to update great, though.

Are you referring to the temperature/condition for your current location that shows up in the 3D Touch quick actions menu? That's really dependent on background updates performed by the phone, and they don't really happen at regular enough intervals unfortunately. I included that more as a test feature in the last beta and sort of forgot about it!

Thanks for the info.

It is a very cool function!

Finally deleted Dark Sky in favor of Carrot Weather, bought for the Mac and Phone/Watch as well as premium. The developer has done a great job keeping it fast, efficient and feature rich, highly recommend it.

Bought the app, is easily the best weather app for complications on Apple watch, I like the humour of the app also :)

Time travel on the iPhone app is a great feature and great little jokes here also

My only feature request at this point would be better maps for Australian users. We're spoiled for choice for weather apps and some others have better looking maps than Carrot weather.

I know my weather map data provider (AerisWeather) is working on getting radar coverage for the rest of the world - it looks great for the US already, so hopefully we'll be able to bring it everywhere else soon!

I upgraded to premium but dont seem to see the premium features. How do i confirm if i have premium features enabled?

Already sent email to customer support but i am yet to get a reply.

Thanks for the help.

btw, this app is way better than Dark Sky and will be way better if we can have notifications like what Dark Sky, Weather live has.
