It seems to glitch during the day. The morning could be correct then sometime during the day the max for the current day goes high.

It depends when you look at your watch. You'd have to look at it before the rain actually starts in order to see a "rain starting in XXX minutes" message. The first screenshot you posted shows that rain has already started (and that it'll be raining for more than 1 hour). The second screenshot shows that there's a good chance of rain for the current hour, but that no actual precipitation has been detected in the area yet - if you were to open the app and look at the short-term graph, it'd be empty.

Thanks. Finally got it to look like I wanted.

Will there be rain predictions for France ?

I believe Forecast.io, my weather data provider, is hoping to add new locations for rain prediction, but unfortunately they haven't provided a timetable. Fingers crossed that it'll be soon!

I was under the impression that with the premium account, location gets updated every 30mins(?). How come mine does not. I have to manually update everytime (as far as i can remember)to get weather at my current location?

Everytime i check when i get to work i still get temp readings from home.

Do you have your location services setting set to "always" for CARROT Weather? If not, that will prevent location updates from happening in the background.

The main Watch app should try to grab a new location if it's been >10 minutes since the last weather data refresh, but location services on the Apple Watch can be a little finicky. That's why I added that manual update button rather than trust that location services will always return the latest location.

Sorry for the above post, website crashed and caused my post to look like a 2 year old posted it.

What I was trying to say was:

Occasionally I get a red X with a ??min countdown timer under it in my Apple Watch complication.

Does anyone know what this is?

Many thanks

And for the record, I'm not 2.

It means that rain stops in X minutes.

How is carrot better/different the dark sky?

The main difference is the amount of data displayed on the complication. When it's not raining, the Dark Sky complication looks pretty much like the stock Apple weather complication. I tried to include a lot more useful data, like the feels like temperature and what the condition's going to be like a few hours from now. If you upgrade to premium, you can customize the watch face to show additional data points like wind speed, humidity, etc - and even add a second small complication to display this extra data. You should be able to get a pretty good idea by looking at the App Store screenshots.

I guess both but the watch doesn't work too well...so I guess carrot is better. after I buy the app there is another yearly charge? What do I get with that?

The premium upgrade adds more frequent data updates for the complication and the ability to customize what data appears on the complication. The yearly charge is really just to cover the extra data that the complication uses, since it's constantly fetching new weather data 24/7 and each of those updates costs a small amount of money from my weather data provider.

If I pay for the App itself, but do not upgrade to premium, can I still customize the complications to some degree or can I only use the ones you provided? Also, how often does the Watch app update without the premium upgrade? And finally, how much more Watch battery will be used for the premium upgrade that is constantly fetching data 24x7? (Compared to the non-premium version)
