its not my pockets that worry me, although my left pocket is dedicated to my iphone, its more the possibility of leaving it on my lap when i stand up or get out of my car. ive done it once and was lucky enough not to do any damage

I hate that. Scariest thing ever. :( I used to use an Otterbox on my 3Gs but I ended up breaking two of their cases in various ways so I just started going naked. Gotta be extra careful now. :eek:
 
People who are more husky don't really bend their body too much so to some of opposite proportions it would seem like it would fall out of the shirt pocket but for certain body types it's just natural to have belt clips and wallets in back pockets because they have more body mass and it's like a minuscule non cumbersome item compared to their proportions but someone with less body mass proportions would wear things in more minimal ways due to varying degrees of comfort reasons.

I carry my iPhone in the jeans pocket for which it was designed.

Over the years and after many painful lessons, I have engraved an instinctual habit of confirming where my phone is before I make any motion to step out of my vehicle.

Before I move, I confirm.
