I'm on the verge of picking up something from sfbags.

Anyone have experience with the VeritGo bags? I emailed them and they mentioned an 11.6" air in one of their new suede jackets will fit in a small vertigo. I'm thinking of going this route...

How do people get away with posts like this? I mean I got a time out for poking fun with "OneTwo" where one equals "fan" and two equals "boi."

I just don't get the moderation here???

It's completely hypocritical. I've gotten warnings for posting 2 posts (the way they have this messaging board configured is when you reply to 2 different people in a thread, even if the thread is 50 pages long, it doesn't append your last comment, it creates a new one, which apparently is against the rules to post 2 times, even if unrelated, yet they're unwilling to check the 1 box to configure the system to append rather than add an additional post).... yet people have used words I wouldn't use on an enemy, and they don't get banned or warned, and people post complete garbage and they don't get warned... makes no sense. "A rule applies to everyone or noone" ... failure to follow that principle is the definition of corruption.

Visiting Tokyo and I had to hit up the Apple store here. I found a new Porter MacBook Air 11.6" Sling and snatched right away. It was their last one. I loaded some pictures here:
http://public.fotki.com/navanoD/computer-junk/porter-116-mba-sling/

It's very important that this be clarified:

This is NOT designed for the 11.6, they simply added product information to state that it "will work" with the 11.6 inch model. This is 100% designed for the 13" Macbook Air, and just happens to also fit the 13"....You can even see by the model number that the product date code is from early 2010.

http://store.apple.com/jp/product/H1890J/B

See the product details right on Apple's site.

I thought it was odd that the JP Apple stores would get something specifically for Air 11" before the US, as I've been to JP many times and they always lag a bit behind us in the Apple store products. Now it makes sense.

I posted a moronic comment, where I was being an ass.
I edited the post to remove the moronic statement, and replaced it with that.

I did receive an infraction for what I said before I edited it.

Who says censorship is bad... it works for Afghanistan, China, Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc... look how happy they all seem. LOL... It's funny how people who create message boards do so because they want a forum for open communication without censorship, yet it always ends up as a dictatorship where people fear typing anything that anyone might disagree with for fear of being banned. Animal Farm anyone?

You dont walk into someone's house and start screaming at them and then cry first amendment when they kick you out. You are free to start your own forums and talk however you want, but in our house there are rules.

Nope, but the concept of a forum is that it's neutral, and not anyone's house. You have the same mindset as the governments who arrest people for speaking out when they have a right to protest. You can't call yourself a free nation then arrest those who peacefully protest. The government is "for the people by the people" so to say it's "our house\your house" is ridiculous, and it's the same situation here where the mods claim it's a "not for profit" means to allow free expressions of opinion and ideas. I agree insulting others is inappropriate, but when someone expresses a different view than others, sometimes the rules are applied unevenly. That's all.

While I completely agree with you, I also don't like being banned.
Getting an infraction for telling somebody to "Stop being a moron and just buy the damn software." is just dumb. I got a PM and an infraction for this (the PM notifies you of the infraction), so I told the mod that PM'd me, "Don't be a whiney bitch." I got a 7 day ban for that.

This is arn's house (forums) and arn's rules enforced by arn's moderators. You are not being silenced as there is plenty of internet left for you to start your own forums.

This is a simple concept that some people can't understand. They reveal their ignorance by mentioning such irrelevant concepts as 'free speech' and analogies to repressive countries neither of which apply to a privately owned discussion forum.

Speck Products making a case!

Just recently speck put on their website that they are making cases for the new 11 and 13 inch macbook airs. I'm guessing these will be plastic hard cases like their other models.

I can't wait!!! Their cases are nice and help keep the laptops from getting scratches or dents.

I've had many in the past and despite finding it odd that they seem to get a bit scuffed inside the case (due to the macbook rubbing against it), I have not had any that damaged the macbook's aluminum casing.

Thoughts on your speck or incase hard case experience?

Just a small correction... they are not making them yet... they are working on it at the moment.
I do agree with you though... their products are very good.
