I just got the update below from Caudabe. It took a long time to get the Button version code from Caudabe because their email response was pretty slow. So I got the Button version ordered on 10/3. Even though the website said the Blue color was back-ordered until 10/10, I did not a case out of that batch. It now looks like will get my case around 10/21. I originally order the Sheath on 9/21, so this will be a full month of waiting.
I like the Caudabe cases but this is too much hoop jumping and waiting for me. There are lots of other good cases out there that aren't a hassle to get.

Thanks for the email! Really sorry that we haven't been able to ship out the Sheath Button Cover in Celestial Blue sooner. It's a combination of really high demand and unpredictable manufacturing delays. That said, we do expect to ship another batch out in the next 5 to 7 days. So feel free to just hang on for the time being.
I feel like the addition of the felt creates a tighter fit pushing on the magsafe ring making it more obvious.
I don’t know how to explain it except that it fits like a really precise glove. The Sheath always fits well, but it just feels even more custom this year? If that makes sense.
And it’s a way better fit ironically than that FineWoven trash which just slips off the phone with almost no effort.
I’ve got three Sheaths between me and family/friends, and I don’t see the MagSafe ring on any of them. You should ask their customer service team for a new one. I did see a slight debris ring from where I’ve used MagSafe, but it wipes off easily. Otherwise it looks super clean (literally and figuratively) from the outside.
LOL yeah if I hold mine at just the right angle, on a full moon with the wind blowing in a northeasterly direction at 5mph and the analog clock in my basement is showing 7:53, then I too can see a MagSafe ring. I love Macrumors!! 😂
But in all seriousness, I just checked and mine has nothing. Looks perfect to me. But even if I could see a slight mark or whatever at a certain angle under certain lighting, I wouldn’t care. It reminds me of people wanting to return their iPhones because of a slight mark that you can barely see. I get that these are expensive items, but the level of OCD sometimes is so funny.
My buttoned Sheath just arrived and it too has the same slightly visible magnet ring on the back. Also not keen on the port cut out showing a gap from the edge of the titanium. Doesn't feel as nice in the hand as the Benks Armor Pro or Spigen Enzo Aramid either so I doubt I'll use it and probably sell on.
Not sure where I was being OCD about this? I just said I noticed the MagSafe ring. I'm not even bothered by it, I still love the case.
When did Caudabe add the Gray Synthesis to the site? I guess I just haven't been on it in awhile since initially ordering.
Whoa good question. I didn't see it on there the other day. I actually think the gray synthesis looks better than the Sheath.
🤨 I have to really struggle to remove my FineWoven case. It’s on there extremely tight. I was afraid of cracking the phone by the amount of pressure needed to remove it.

Ordered a Black Sheath (button version) for the 15 Pro (non-Max) on 10/8. Changed my mind and wanted to change it to Celestial Blue (still button version) so emailed them. They changed the order for me a day later on 10/9, and my order shipped 10/10.
I can only assume you've ordered the Pro Max version?

Mine hasn't arrived yet (I'm in the UK). Maybe they prioritised international orders due to the longer shipping times? Takes about 8-10 days to get from the US to here with their cheapest shipping option.
I'm not even certain they've shipped the right case, I have a feeling they've either shipped a cutout Celestial Blue or shipped my original order instead of the one I changed to, despite them saying they changed it in time. We'll see.

Maybe it's because you used a code for a free version? I paid full price for the button version as I didn't order a cutout originally. If so, perhaps their thinking is you already have a case and priority should be for people without one at all who paid full price?
