I did try Facebook, and didn’t get a reply. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think it’s my job to hunt them down for a reply. They have now missed 2 promised ship dates, and response to emails have been very slow. I’ll be cancelling my order and requesting a refund when I get home today.
I have emailed on Monday them to cancel my order but I haven’t heard back from them. It’s really frustrating dealing with them

Can someone try explain what the sheath feels like? I live in Australia so it’ll be costly to return if I dont like it haha. It looks like a rough, hard plastic but have heard some people say its more rubbery/soft.

It is close to hard plastic, but I wouldn’t say it’s rough. It has a nice texture that gives enough grip that it isn’t slippery. Its not rubbery like the Apple silicon cases.

Thanks to this Forum, I found the love to the Caudabe cases a few years ago. (I am from Austria and here nearly nobody knows this company / this cases). :)

Unfortunately this year I am not as happy as the last years. This week I received the black Sheath without the action button cutout for my 15 Pro Max.

As some people alteady mentioned here and in other threads, you can clearly see the magsafe area on the back and that right out of the box without using it.

Never had this on the cases the last years.

Sent a mail to Caudabe a few minutes ago regarding this issue. Let you know what they will say ;)

Like others here, I have had a very frustrating experience with Caudabe this year. I have been a big supporter of their cases over the years and have always had excellent customer service in years past, but this year's experience has been very disappointing. I placed my order for a 15Pro sheath and synthesis on 9/26 with the understanding that I would receive cutout versions of both cases with the option of being able to email them for a code to receive the button cover versions once they were available. Once the button cover versions were listed on thier website, I emailed them on 10/1 asking if my order could be changed so that I would only receive the button cover versions since the cut out versions had not yet been shipped to me. I had to end up reaching out via Twitter to get a response, but finally received a response from Liz with Caudabe on 10/7 that they would adjust my order to only fulfill the button cover versions. Yesterday, I received the cases - unfortunately both were cutout versions. Now I have had to email them again to try to get the button cover versions which will likely take another week or longer for a response. While I am thankful to Caudabe for their attempts to "make things right" for the customers; their methods to achieve this goal have been very exasperating.

What do these Caudabe cases feel like? I gotta say, from the photos, they look like rough hard plastic.

Update to this:

Received a eMail from Caudabe 40 Minutes ago —> will get a new one 🤗

So for me the support is still one of the best - an answer in nearly 24 hours and a replacement without sending back. 👍

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere yet, but has anybody experienced issues when using MagSafe or Wireless charging with the Synthesis?

I've been using the case (action button version) for about a week straight now but it will not charge at normal rates when using MagSafe/Wireless charging. After 8 hours of sleep I can see the phone has trickle charged all night and sometimes it's still not at 100% by the morning. I've tried a number of different chargers and stands and they all charge slowly. It's like the magnets aren't aligned properly to the charging coil in the phone. I also have a Sheath to compare with and it charges normally.

Figured I'd ask around before reaching out to support.

mild sandpaper lol, I have one for 14 pro, they are boring and way overpriced imo especially this year
much prefer my mous
To each their own I guess, but I feel like Caudabe is far from overpriced for what their cases offer. Personally I much prefer the texture and grip the Sheath offers over any other case I've tried. You can easily criticize the mous for being a fingerprint magnet.

Mous carbon gets few but not even worth the worry imo, buttons are way better, back is smooth, I just prefer the feel holding it, and way more drop proof.
Sheath is a bit smaller but I have a pro not max so all good, magsafe is a touch stronger not that i've had a problem with the mous magsafe, I only use magsafe in home/office/car.

Sheath is $75AUD here now shipped from US and a 3 week wait, price on par with OB symmetry and nomad leather available locally, it was always the cheaper case.
I got mine for $40 off ebay which is about what they are worth for what you get imo.

Mous has risen in price too over $100AUD.

Nothing is perfect.

I caved and ordered the grey synthesis. Im hoping my action button is better. If not I will deal with it as it does not get used often. I enjoyed everything else about it.
Did you ever get the grey synthesis? And how are the buttons. I’m also dealing with some bad buttons on my blue one.

I got a grey button synthesis to compare to the sheath. It's possible my synthesis has a manufacturing defect because the edges on the raised bottom corners are very sharp and dig into my palm. The side grips are also way too rough compared to the rest of the texture on either case. That's just a design feature I don't care for. The sharp edges (or seams) on the corners though means the case is getting returned.

The sheath, for me, is damn near perfect. The synthesis maybe just isn't for me.

Yeah. What's ironic to me in claiming that Caudabe is overpriced is then citing Mous as the better option. I've never understood the appeal of Mous cases. The styling is tacky and the pricing is bonkers for what the cases are. I would never even consider a Mous case.

Hmmm, that's interesting. I also think the Sheath is damn near perfect but I've found myself gravitating towards the Synthesis this year. I'm not feeling any sharp edges on mine in the corners. And I love the little dots for grip on the side. That's probably my favorite feature on the Synthesis. I get that this is all really subjective though. But, I've been surprised how much I like the Synthesis because I'm usually a Sheath guy through and through.

Agreed! I’m liking the Synthesis more this year. Just got my Gray today!

Mine was half price same as the sheath I have too, I wouldn’t pay full price for either of them.

I’ve had a sheath on my last two iPhones and I wouldn’t pay more than the £30 I paid for each. They are good cases though as they look sleek and fit the phone so well. I’ve had some serious drops in the past and the case has protected the phone and not encountered any damage. Contrast that to cases by Spigen where they do chip and scuff and you can see why Caudabe cases cost a lot more.

To each their own, I guess 🤣 good thing you don’t have to buy the case.
For sure. I think the new Synthesis looks great. That gray one you got is stunning. I got both the Synthesis and Sheath this year, even though usually I only do the Sheath. I was not a fan of the design on the 14 Synthesis on the other hand. Looks much sleeker this year.

I agree 100%. Usually I only go with the Sheath, but got both this year. I wasn’t a fan of the Synthesis for the 14, mainly the camera cutout design, but I think it looks much better this year. More futuristic IMO.
