Speaker holes look off a bit . Missing a few as well
Thanks jeremydc. I wondered about the hole count... I'm eager to see how everything lines up with the real thing.

(2nd Edit: Oops... Caudabe has it correct. Thanks to those who corrected me. And Caudabe does have excellent Customer Service!)

(Edit to add: Upon further consideration, I've sent the photos to Caudabe, along with my request for a full Refund. Clearly the speaker holes are off in number, at least. Where was QC when this case was packaged clear for sale?
Thank you again, jeremydc!

Guess I'll get an Apple MagSafe case so something will fit properly right away...It would have been sporting of Apple to have replaced the omitted adapter with a single-use USD$20 voucher loaded into each iPhone 12 good toward any accessory in the Apple Store.)

Got the Caudabe Sheath (black) today and gotta say its very nice and for some reason feels even slimmer and somewhat smaller than the other three cases I’ve purchased for the 12PM. I have the Spigen Ultra, Smartish Kung Fu and a Torran and the Sheath just feels like a Smaller footprint. Also liking the grippy feel.

Check out this link and look at the drawing with the dimensions: https://www.apple.com/iphone-12/specs/. Looks like your Caudabe case is correct if you got the mini. Two holes on one side and four on the other.

Interesting. Looks like Caudabe got it right, but I'm surprised Apple only went with two holes on one side on the mini. I wonder if those are just for pure aesthetics? Usually sound only comes out of one side anyway.

I’m thinking about getting the Caudabe sheath. Not sure if it’s going to meet my needs. I currently have the apple silicone case for my 12 pro. How do they compare? Does the sheath have a good grip? How much thinner is it compared to the apple case? Are the buttons easy to press on the shealth? Thanks in advance.

Nah, it looks right. The mini has four on one side and two on the other. You can find it on Apple's website.
Hello rulymammoth,

Yes, you are indeed correct. Caudabe kindly replied to me with the same link.
(I felt like a nincompoop for having sent my hasty email!)

I am so so eager for this phone. 135 grams! Thank you, Apple. ~Best, KM

Edit to remove redundant link.

Do you know the weight of the sheath?

Compared with the average case but I guess that extra heft is better for protection. Can’t imagine lugging around a 250ish gram phone + case + protector

Gonna have to disagree. The Sheath is super light and I’m not sure what case your comparing it to as the ”average” case. My iPhone X weight is 182.2 grams + Spigen Ultra Hybrid case - 211.1 grams total. The 12PM is 228 grams w/o case and tossing on the sheath is a total of 256.4 grams. I honestly dont think 45 grams is a gonna be a deal breaker for the screen real estate, battery and camera upgrades. Just my .02 cents.

Wow did not realize the weight of the silicone. Is that a 12P silicone case Or Max?

12/12P. Max version is not available yet. I had one too and returned it.
Good to know thanks. I can only assume the Max version will be even more hefty. I had planned to pick one up but with that weight not sure.

Yeah, not only was it heavy but it dug into my pinky cause there is a plastic ring around the charging port. Thumbs down on the silicone cases this year. Such a bummer cause they used to be my favorite.

I’ll use Rullus again.. covers for the individual camera lenses was awesome for my 11 pro max.

Is the Caudabe case supposed to be fully tight around the left and right sides? This is my first Sheath and it seems like both sides are very, very slightly loose and not as tight as the corners of the phone. Normal?

Anyone know if the edge to edge screen protectors such as the Flolab NanoArmour will work with the Veil case?

Yes if you pull at them, but shouldn't be in normal use from memory, havn't got my 12 case yet though, hopefully tomorrow.
