I get that. Nevertheless, it is a valid solution - there is no bump, in the sense that it is not sticking out above its surroundings. Franky, I think this is preferable over the original design.
Totally agree that no bump is aesthetically better.

But, functionally, less bulk is better for something that's on my person everywhere I go.

This is just plain stupid...

The problem is not someone coming up and selling this, the real problem is that there will be a lot of people buying this. Humanity is becoming stupid as times goes by...

It’s tacky but maybe could be less tacky without the large obnoxious text. Idk im just really annoyed by the text right now lol it’s all unsightly but that text....gotta click away from the cheap knock Off looking iphone

Hate the nasty phone. But, I dig the New Balance shoes. Which model are those?

You gotta reeeeally hate the camera bump to get on board with this nightmare.

Nothing would radiate “d-bag” with any more exacting precision, than the person who purchases this thing.

This “stuff” (crap) is clearly designed for people with more dollars than sense! Something Paris Hilton or one of the Kardashians would bandy about.

And how is Steve Jobs turtleneck authenticated?

Just NOT where I’d choose to spend my $$$$.

What makes this particularly bad is all the text and engraving to highlight the "look at me!" factor. Tasteless, terrible, and vain.

Caviar, a site known for creating extravagant, expensive replacement casings for Apple's iPhone models, today announced the launch of its latest custom creation, an iPhone 12 Pro customized in the style of an iPhone 4.

The "iPhone 12 Pro Jobs 4" collection is dedicated to Steve Jobs and the 10th anniversary of the iPhone 4 – the last model to be personally presented by Jobs – and features iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max models in blackened titanium, white, and a luxury gold version.

The front of each iPhone has been left untouched, but the backs feature an authentic fragment of Jobs' original famous turtleneck embedded in the Apple logo, while the lower part of the smartphones are adorned with Jobs' autograph, "as a sign of quality, a symbol of his time," and the famous Apple slogan, "Think different."

According to Caviar, the white model is made of composite G10 covered with jewelry enamel and its apple logo is made of 925 sterling silver, while the gold model is made of genuine 18 karat gold and its apple logo is crafted from 750 gold.

More details on the new "iPhone 12 Pro Jobs 4" collection can be found on Caviar's website. The new iPhones are priced starting at $6,490 for a 128GB black titanium iPhone 12 model, and go up to $10,140 for a black and gold iPhone 12 Pro Max with 512GB storage.

Caviar also sells a range of other customized luxury iPhones made from unique materials and with intricate designs. In addition, this year it is also selling custom New Balance 991 sneakers, which also include a piece of Job's turtleneck and a little titanium plate featuring the "Think different" slogan.

Caviar says each phone in the series will be released in a limited edition of 10 models, while the custom New Balance 991 sneakers limited to 30 pieces.

Why on earth would you engrave or treat one of the most expensive THROW AWAY products in the world as a collector item? Apple has continued down the path of unsustainable throw away technology which is a blatant slap in the face of the green sustainable realm.

Selling Steve Jobs' legacy high priced edition.

I want a $99 "Support Steve Jobs' legacy with your wallet" bumper sticker.

Oh.My.God. Commit whatever atrocities you will with all that mess but the bit of fabric embedded is grotesque. As is putting Jobs signature on it as well.

Is this where people start saying, "You're just jealous because you can't afford it!" once again? ;)
Not jealous: Lucky me could afford to spend $6k to buy something nice now and then (although I wouldn't want to make it a habit). But I'd need a lobotomy to make me think that this tasteless tat was "something nice", and have you seen the cost of private brain surgery these days? :)

Above all else, the problem here is the typography. It’s simply awful. For all the effort put into this stunt, they skimped on the graphic design and ruined the whole thing. smh
