only the black link will look good with it and the band that comes with it/white

Why do people insist on having mickey mouse as a watch face

It makes the AW look like a childs toy
I agree. its horrible. I really don't understand why its even on the watch. Yes its from my childhood also.
But so was CONTRA

Exactly what I wanted to see. I was going to keep my Space Black Link Bracelet and grab a ceramic Apple Watch. Glad I just bought a Series II Space Black Apple Watch instead of Ceramic. This combo looks weird and I love the link bracelet too much.

No, the ceramic watch, while super over priced, is great, but the bands paired are mostly wrong, wrong, wrong. These work:

I think they'll sell a lot more of the ceramic than they did the gold Apple Watch. It's "exclusive", but within reach of a lot more people.

Last year I bought the SS version, when the aluminum Sport would have served my needs, so I'm not criticizing. I'm not planning to upgrade to Series II. Not enough new to make it worthwhile for me. Maybe Series III.

I saw the watch at an Apple Store today. Looked okay. Not $1500 good mind.

But with every color, you have to look at it in person. I thought the orange nylon band would look hideous on the rose gold watch but it didn't. Very vibrant.

I wish apple would make an effort to pair their color choices better with bands. The ceramic edition needs a couple of standout bands.

It's funny you say that. I don't have an Apple Watch yet, but once my Series 2 arrives, I plan to use the Mickey face. Because the last time I was a watch wearer, I was a child, and it was a Mickey watch. Nostalgia.

This would only look good if the bands were attached with a ceramic white lug. Plugging the band straight into the watch makes the contrast look terrible.

It's from everybody's childhood, and some continue to love Disney stuff as adults. Not me especially, but I get it.

Some people are taking themselves way too seriously.

It probably feels very luxurious, but it doesn't look like it. But the watch also needs a makeover. It would be much better looking if it was a bit thinner.

I actually quite liked the matching with the ceramic+nylon, than I realised the material is Nylon - not something I would want on my wrist, otherwise, it could match nicely with a cloth-band

the new watch is actually thicker, this is the only apple device that I wish was thinner.

TBH it looks like a kids watch w the ceramic and different colors bands plus the mouse backdrop. Doesn't look like its worth +$1000. You can't even update your hardware inside. people spent 10k on a gold watch that is already outdated and slower than the new one. First world problems for the people that can afford the ceramic and the gold ones anyways.
