Change from 3-4 weeks to Preparing for Shipment?

Still processing.... Jan 3 - jan 9. And nothing change...

I order base 27" plus fusion drive and i'm really sad because one of my friend go in the apple store and get out with the exact machine out of the store...
 
Ordered mine on 1st Dec (Australia), Still Processing..

I called Apple, but the lady told me that it is not possible to get upgraded shipping. Mine is still processing, but have my fingers crossed for tommorw.
 
My CC was charged at 8:20 this morning but status is still processing. Suspect that will change soon!

I check mine religiously hoping it will change..

no luck so far.. I thought I could wait but now the anticipation after my PC crashing on me a few weeks ago its killing me
 
Still processing although I ordered the first minutes the AppleStore was up on the 30th. My friend who bought the EXACT same configuration, paid with the same type of bank card and lives a few minutes from me but ordered on the morning of the 2nd got his shipped... Annoying.

If it has not moved yet, it is likely you will not get any iMac before Christmas. But not necessarily because you waited one day to order it.

Wow, either your friend is really lucky or they're already starting to process later orders (after Nov 30)...
