Change from 3-4 weeks to Preparing for Shipment?

Congrats again! It seems Apple is now shipping later orders, but only to addresses outside of the US.
I wonder if anyone who placed an order on Dec 1 or later and lives in the US has had their iMac preparing for shipment/shipped. I agree with you that it seems most of the people whose status is changing are outside of the US.
I ordered mine on 10-dec, BTO 27" iMac. I live in Canada. All it says "Available in January".
Well, that's cause you're on the 10th! I think they're just starting to move past the Nov 31st-Dec 1st orders. Hang tight!
Dec 3rd started to ship, so Dec 2nd should be shipped. Mine is shipped (Dec 3rd)
Ordered 30th Nov real early but payed through wired transfer. Payment was verified and accepted the 3rd of December.. Status went to processing... and surprise surprise...it has stated Processing ever since
It seems that most initial orders have been shipped to the members of this forum. The dates are now in the "beginning of January" range so i really expect some change for us later today

Ordered Dec 1st, ~1:00am PST. Fully loaded 27". Delivers Dec 28 - Jan 4. I am still processing, as is most Dec 1st`ers.
Ordered on the 2nd as well, shipping to Canada... Still Processing. BTO though.

We ordered and payed on the same way and date. Let's hope it will change soon for us indeed...

That really sucks, considering BTO people that ordered later than you are shipping already...

My BTO just changed to "preparing to ship". I was in the 3-4 week to ship range with an estimated delivery of Dec 31 -Jan 7. I ordered very late (8pm PST) 11/30. Since that was well after business hours I figure that's basically the same as a 12/1 order.
