Technically speaking, I made this avatar myself... using the same image he used for one of his avatars. 😉 (He gets to use 100 x 100 avatars... we all have to settle for 75 x 75.)

But does anyone know what's up with Lacero? I thought Lacero was (is) a guy, but now I'm seeing female avatars AND a female profile picture. This should be a simple question, shouldn't it? 😛

I sort of always assumed Lacero was a woman...I took a bit of a MR hiatus and came back with Lacero posting up a storm...I think it was subconciously coming from this thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/157603/, seeing someone who looked to me to be female hugging her dog...it never really crossed my mind otherwise. 🙂

Username changes are generally frowned upon for a few reasons.

If it's an insignificant change (essentially the same name) then it's usually ok.
Major changes can cause confusion, so that's why I don't like it.

There are exceptions. It's decided case by case.
