change shipping address???

Yes it is annoying. I am still waiting for my second order to be able to change address. First email for second order 3:22 am est
just tried to change it & said order is being processed. once that's done I can change it. hopefully by the morning
I wish I knew this earlier. I spent at least 30 minutes trying to temporarily change it on myATT which was a complete failure. After getting an error code for 30 minutes, ATT pretty much says my street address doesn't exist and that my PO Box is my address. However, neither Apple or ATT will ship an iPhone to a PO. So, I ended up placing my order from the Apple Store App and found this thread so I will check later in the day to edit my shipping from my PO to my street. The worst part is, after spending all of this time on an edit address problem, my delivery went from 9/21 to 2 weeks.....and they had only been out for 40-45 mins at this point. Really makes you wonder how many were preordered in this time.
Wayyyyy to paranoid to order without correct shipping, as these phones are currently having labels slapped on then as fast as the printer can possibly print them. Last thing I want is someone to walk up to my old address with and find my precious ip5 laying there.

I was just able to change my shipping address by clicking on the order number in the email, then clicking edit/make changes and then editing the address. I think I clicked that edit button for a few hours and it just let me do it. I haven't reviewed an email stating my order has been processed so it's possible to do it before.
Hey guys I just managed to change the shipping address to my work. You can also do it after it turns to "processing"
I too can confirm this. Tried after you posted this and it went through. I'm still on order process but managed to change shipping address.
was able to change my shipping address while it was saying processing order.. Shipping it to a business (Future Media Concepts).. As far as I know.. They say FedEx delivers to them around 10AM..
I just changed mine too. Clicked my order number in the email and changed my shipping address even though my order says processing. Ive been on hold with apple customer service for 30 min now...Just want to make sure the change went through!

Just received an email saying my shipping address for my order was changed. That was fast.
its pretty dumb right!
I am order my sisters now that I know apple lets you change the shipping while it is processing. But I just wanted to make sure!
Ugh Mine says processing but when I click to edit address I get a box that says:
Your order is being processed. Please try again shortly. To make changes to your default shipping information, go to Your Account
If I go to account it shows right shipping and billing address but it stays the same on the order and wont change. The address on the order is the address associated with our Verizon account. Trying to change the order so I can have son's phone shipped to him in FL.
I have tried multiple times to call the 1-800 number. Either I get a recording saying they can't take my call right now and it hangs up or I get a computer that takes my order number then transfers me and then I get the sorry we can't take your call yada yada and it disconnects the call!
UPDATE: Son was finally able to get through on the phone to a person. He said she was very nice, said their system is running really slow. She was able to change the mailing address to his but left the name as his father but I don;'t think it will be a problem. Fed ex only cares about getting an adult signature and he works that day anyway so his friend will be signing for both his and my son's phone.

I tried calling Verizon to change the shipping address, but they informed me that I would have to cancel the order and re-order it if I wished to change the shipping address.
