I see you posted the updated package in a zip file, is it easy to load that into my iPhone ?

Yes, just ssh into your device and place the unzipped file into the themes folder. In the end it should look like /private/vat/stash/Themes.XXXXXX/biteSMS to RETINA SMS Icon/Bundles/etc...

I had the BigBoss version so I went and DL'ed the xSellize version because I REALLY hated that pink icon. And it's cool because the xSellize version doesn't expire

It doesn't expire because it is a cracked version. Support the developer and buy the program. The team at BiteSMS puts a bunch of work into their software, support them.
It is sad they even made a free version with ads and people still feel the need to pirate the app.
an easy way to change the name from biteSMS to messages is in cydia download a package called "rename", This brings up all your apps and allows you to rename them to what u want so just rename and respring and its done
Also i managed to change the icon to the high resolution apple messages icon without winterboard through ssh, would it be possible for someone to post a link to a small icon so that i can change the file Icon-Small.png? im guessing this is the little pink bitesms logo that come up on the lock screen when u have a sms

It's funny how many threads there are about changing the icon for bitesms. Why don't they change the ugly pink icon already?
Because;
1. They like it, it's the icon of their company not simply some kind or insignificant emoticon.
2. They know for every person who whines about it, there are plenty more who either like it or don't care.
3. There are simple ways to change it.
Apple is the only company that changes icons willy-nilly.It's funny how many threads there are about changing the icon for bitesms. Why don't they change the ugly pink icon already?

It's amazing how many people seem to refuse to look for biteSMS answers and solutions at the biteSMS site. Someone on there has developed a package of all new graphics for biteSMS that works via Winterboard or SSH. Look in their forums in the General section.

When I Google biteSMS, the first link that comes up is bitesms.com, not MacRumors. I must be accessing a different Google.

No, same google, I just define my search more by googling "change bitesms icon without winterboard". Maybe theres a different one for people who get satisfaction from being sarcastic on forums though.

Just read the thread on this, and can anyone tell me how to change the stock bitesms logo into the green retina display version with a bit out of the corner? Ideally with the use of winterboard
