iPhone X Changing carriers while on the iPhone Upgrade Program.

Hello all,

Has anyone changed carriers while being on the iPhone Upgrade Program? I currently have an iPhone X on the iPhone Upgrade Program with AT&T as my carrier and I’m planning to pre-order the XS later in the morning but I want to switch carriers down the road. Will this iPhone XS be unlock from day one ? And what about next year when the iPhone 2019 comes out will I be able to do upgrade even though I might not be with AT&T?

Yup... I have ATT and T-Mobile and I switched sims all the time..

Yes, but will the new iPhones on AT&T models have cdma, cuz I want to switch to Verizon without relying on LTE.

According to Apple’s website, there is ONE model for the United States so if you buy the AT&T version it looks like it’ll work on Verizon later.
