Someone posted the same thing earlier. People joked that it was a limited edition, and/or that it would become a collector's item like the "upside down Jenny" stamp.

Maybe it would be easier to tell if the photo was taken directly above and not at an angle. I don't see any issues from that photo.

Now that you have posted the other two photos I can tell, but it isn't terrible. That really would not bother me at all, but you have to decide for yourself what bothers you.

I have the same thing...Looks like it's only happening on the silver models from the postings I've seen so far.

A lot of people are saying yea Just put a case on it, live with it, etc. Honestly why should any of us have to live with a defect on anything that we spend money on?

If you bought a designer shirt that had lop sided writing on it would you wear it? I doubted...you would return it.

My new 6 has writting that is just as lop sided as the OP's, I'll make a decision next week if it's worth it to exchange, only thing holding me back is the horror stories of countless people who end up with a phone with even more issues than the original.

Something like this shouldn't happen with a company that has more cash on hand than the US Govt.

I took it to apple store and spoke with and showed it to one of the managers. He said, I see it but Apple does quality control and would not let it through if they thought it wasn't ok. I said I believe that they missed it. unbelievable. Its the principle. It doesn't affect function but as you said, it shouldn't happen.

Is this reason enough for a return?

Warranty says hardware defects...wondering if this is considered a 'hardware defect'

If you had a $55k BMW, and the factory misaligned the BMW logo on the back of the car, would you return the vehicle? Would they even let you???

this aint no $60K plus purchase, i purchased a new lexus ISF and there was a paint chip by the headlights with 4 miles on the car from factory, nothings perfect in this world, but this is a phone not a $65K car less options at that point with a car, that chip still bothers me but who sees it but me ;-)

This isn't a BMW it's a phone that can be easily returned. Try to hang in there and keep up with the conversation.
