Yes, my discount has always applied to my data plan, but my understanding is that it varies FAN to FAN.

Both online when placing the order and in my confirmation email, it shows my 18% FAN discount.

Below is what is copied directly from my confirmation email...

Service Discount-$5.40

Mine shows $30 ..but who knows it might change during the first billing cycle...

Yes, but I had to use my wireless number option instead of the "order number" option...and when I pulled it up with my wireless number, the order number was different from the one provided in the confirmation email and on the Premiere site. Who knows!

Yeah, I used the wireless number I put used for the order. Weird. I love now there is no consistency. :D
 
Was there a delay in the status being updated? Everytime I try to check the status I get the following error:

"OS001: We're sorry but the information you entered was not recognized by our systems. Please contact us for further assistance."

Yes, there was a delay, maybe 30 minutes, Im not sure.
 
Does anyone know (in the past) if signature is required upon delivery?

Without knowing for sure, I'll contradict myself and say absolutely! I can imagine that items such as this (and video cards, and other young-un oriented things) are prime scam bait. No way the seller would take the chance of a "drop address" or things getting stolen off front porches and losing their physical property.

But, I could be wrong (don't count on it) :eek: ;) ;)

edit: Ok, Unseen and Alm just showed how much I know. I'll be quiet now hehe
 
For current customers upgrading, what does it state under the

Plan Rate section in your order summary.

Mine says:

Rate Plan:
No Voice Plan


Unlimited ......... $30.00
- Unlimited
1500 messages ......... $15.00
- 1500 messages

Under Custom Configuration it says:
Without AT&T Rate Plan

is this normal?

Thanks folks, I guess I could call ATT and try to get a definitive answer, but not sure how "valid" that answer would be. ;)

I ordered through Premier around 6 this morning and it didn't recognize my order number, but it did recognize my wireless number. Mine also says backordered. This same thing happened when I got my 3G. I was the first person in line NOT to get one and I had to order one. The 1 would switch from ordered to backordered multiplle times throughout the day. When I ordered on 3G launch day, AT&T said it would take a week and that is exactly how long it took.

I wanted to order from Apple, but I am putting my trust in AT&T that I will have my phone next Thursday...

I may cry if I don't get it though :(
 
I am getting this as well. I preordered this morning at about 6am.

I ordered mine at 530, I'm getting the same result. It was early and I didn't write down the confirmation number on the page so I figured I'd call ATT to find out, that was a waste of time. At one point I ended up in the sales department and I was told that you can't pre-order the iPhone from AT&T's website and that I'd have to go to Apple. When I told her I already did pre-order it from ATT's website and I just need my order number she just repeated "no you can't". Just thought someone here might get a chuckle out of that one.
 
Order is in there. Lists Iphone 4 32GB Blk but has 1 under QTY-Backordered. Hopefully this means pre-ordered.

Also, for other folks asking, it took a few hours before I could view my order on the status page. The page says it could take up to 24 hours but I saw mine a few hours later.

2 hours and counting for me to see my status online. I have a conf. number and email, so I'm hoping no snafu.
 
Status

I ordered around the 5:00 hour and did not receive a confirmation. Was not able to track order, until a few minutes ago. I did call citibank this AM and the full amoiunt of the charge was approved- so it is just a matter of time before they send the confirmation emial.

I woudl recommned checking the bank- if the bank was hit- the order informaiton shoudl be on its way.

Well if it means anything to you, I ordered mine around 5am this morning (EST), and I couldn't get to the order status page until after 8am. I think if you got the confirmation email, all is well.
 
Ordered at 7:45 am est and was just now able to check order status...still no confirmation email, but my card has been debited.

Card hasn't been charged yet either (AMEX). Just patiently waiting for the last shoe to drop here.
