my local target has a 128GB 7Plus JB showing in stock on Target mobile app, but when I went to the store, the Target mobile guy said the iPhone is reserved for preorder people on a list. If each person doesn't show up, the next preorder person is offered the iPhone. No walk-in buyers.
I am sure that is the protocol but we all know how much it varies from person to person.....
I called as soon as I saw it in stock and was told they could do 24 hour holds. When I got there the girl walked past the cupboard labeled 24 hour holds and went somewhere else to get mine. Some strange phone voodoo going on in those Targets but don't give up!I am sure that is the protocol but we all know how much it varies from person to person.....
Call to confirm. If they have it ask them to hold for you. Thats what I did last week. Worked like a charm.I see one an hour away from where I live... It's over an hour away though and a 256gb Jet Black.
Don't wanna go there and get told it's for pre-orders only. That would be incredibly annoying and a waste of gas, time, and my day.
I just walked into a local Target and scored a 128GB JB 7 plus. I cannot for the life of me understand the randomness of it all. I still have a pre-order that I need to cancel but I was able to upgrade my line to the AT&T next every year and walk out of the store in under 20 mins. Can someone opine on why these units are available in your local Target but the pre-order crowd via Apple.com have to wait until November?
Picked up a 7+ JB 256 Full Device Price from a Target today. I also got a ip7 32 MB day after launch. Just walked in and bought it.
They are a great resource for phones because the handsets are all A1660/1661 (multi mode) so they work with any network.
They are network locked (except verizon) once you activate it and do payments, but if you pay full price they are unlocked.
