Shave it all off baby! I think guys that are totally hairless (armpits, chest, the rest) are mega sexy. Especially if they have big muscles :D In my opinion, you either shave it all or don't do it all (excluding face and head)

Out of curiosity. I see so many men that DO shave their chest, that it made me want to take a sort of "random' sampling here.

You also asked what women thought of it. Then you said you don't care what women think. Which is it?

I'm a chest shaver. My girlfriend doesn't care either way, but I like it better. I've done it for the last 8-9 years or so.

Welcome to the club! :)

Personally, I like it, and I think could give two ***** what a girl thinks. If a girl doesn't like it, I think she is not ready for a man.
All the makings of a boy who has some issues.
No, I prefer my women to be shaved.

This thing with guys shaving their chest is a fad that has come about in the last 15 years or so (even less probably). Women have been shaving their legs and armpits in the US for a long while.
Fads do not last 15 years ... just an FYI.
Now, You prefer your women shaved and by the sounds of your posts that will follow this one, you nearly demand the woman to adhere to your policy on shaving but never let it be said that you will ever give two sh*ts about what she thinks. You equate those who possibly do not care for your attitude to be women who are not ready for a real man. Good luck with that.
Seems as if I have offended someone. I forgot we live in an age where we must all be so politically correct.
I do not think he is offended, I would say that you come off as arrogant and condescending towards woman and any male who does not share your opinion on shaving or how you appear to treat women.
Better idea, how about the woman continue to shave their legs like I want them to, and I will do whatever I like?
I believe you made a comment about someone having to return to grade school or the likes ... I hope you can join him because really? This is how you sound to a woman who is a) not afraid of being independent and b) not real interested in people like you who appear to think the world should or does revolve around them ... you appear to be someone who has zero respect for people, women in particular.

How about women do whatever they want and don't worry about what you like?
We will Lee ... we'll just never be graced with the presence of a boy like CalPoly. ;) I'm truly saddened beyond words at the thought of this.
If you don't care, why did you make this post?
Because he does. It is clear that he does.

In the end I'd prefer groomed or none, I've been with both and I prefer none, but some doesn't bother me. If the guy is comfortable with himself (this is important CalPoly) then I think the woman will be comfortable as well. Find a woman who doesn't want to change you and who you aren't hell bent on changing as things will work out better.

I know, you're going to say that you made this post as a joke, you were just asking and you don't care, etc etc (insert all internet backpedaling), but in the end, just be comfortable with yourself and find new friends. Those who would take the time to poke fun at you for having a bit of chest hair hanging out of your polo are probably a waste of your time to hang out with anyway.

Chest Hair. Do women mind it?

You just asked what women thought of it, then you turned around and said you don't care what women think. So why did you ask women's opinion in your thread title if you don't care what they think?

Yeah- what a shame.

I personally have never shaved my chest, I am not a fit guy and so don't cruise around topless and the women I have dated thus far haven't minded. Though if I was with a woman that wanted a a shaved guy, I will shave whatever she wants me to shave. It will eventually grow back if things didn't work between the two of us.

As for as her hair, well I personally don't care. I would prefer if she trims "down there" as I hate getting hair in my mouth.

Chest hair is a manly feature. If you don't like being a man, shave away...

Now, back hair on the other hand...

Why is it that every bachelorette party queen seems to need to have an opinion on what does and does not constitute a man?

Oh, no, oops, I did not mean to go there. Sorry. :(

LMFAO

I like how it is suddenly the deciding factor on who is a man and who isn't. So chest hair = man and no hair = what? Chick?

I've been with men who have chest hair who are less of a man than those I've been with who have no hair. I'm not sure there is a direct correlation between masculinity and femininity when it comes to chest hair on a man. I believe no amount of chest hair is going to make the OP more of a man after some of the statements he has made.

Sorry, I've been misunderstood.

What I'm trying to get across is this.

If a woman ever judged me and didn't like me because I had chest hair, I would give a hoot.

If I was in a relationship with a woman and she asked me to shave my chest hair, I would not do it.

In that regard, I do not care what women think of it.

Flip the tables. If I was dating a woman, and suddenly she decided not to shave anymore, and I even though I asked her to she wouldn't, I would not date her.

Vice versa, a woman started telling me to shave my chest and I didn't, and she left me, so be it.

My friends are good people. I guess it's not normal because I have friends who poke fun at each other. Must go with the whole politically correct thing.

Also, my quote of "Better idea, how about the woman continue to shave their legs like I want them to, and I will do whatever I like?", was a JOKE. I am an incredibly chivalrous (sp?) person, and always put woman on a pedastool.

If you're making jokes, please use an emoticon :))), otherwise people think you're serious. It has nothing to do with political correctness.

I concidered using hair removal cream in summer before but never bothered.

If you shaved my chest, you'd have enough hair to give fizzgig a play pal:
