Hair doesn't bother me one way or the other.

Unless it's an alopecia issue, the hairless obsession seems like it has a pre-pubescent connection. /* ducks and covers */ But I'm not necessarily saying you're all perverts. :p

Good lord- the things people read into simple personal preferences.

Guys that like hairless women ... makes them more like young girls. Just sayin'

I can see where someone might jump to that conclusion it's ridiculous to try to fit that to a broad standard. (pardon the pun) Preferring less or no hair does not make someone a pedo.

edit: yeah, what Lee said below.

How about you just don't like it? Does there have to be some sort of perversion to go along with a personal preference? I personally don't like having a carpet on my chest that is hot and itchy. I also have some professional reasons for getting rid of it. I don't mind it on the guys I date though. And I don't necessarily think that guys who don't like hairy women are looking for a young girl fantasy. That's just silly.

People like what they like. That's what makes the world a fun and varied place.

Let's see:

Over 5 foot. Close enough.
Shapely hips and developed breasts: Both go away at the right angle.
Mental maturity: Obviously faking it.
Body hair: What?1?! That ruins it!

While it's possible, it's simply an unfair assumption that ignores a lot of things.

I'm not talking about chest hair. And it's not like this is something that I came up with. I'll drop the issue because it seems to be a little too touchy for this discussion.

I know you weren't. I just mentioned it for context.

So who did come up with this idea, if it wasn't you?

Now now, be careful! :p

I'm sure you meant no harm with that comment but it's only fair for people to point out the ridiculousness of such a notion. The preference for hair in any location on an adult just has nothing to do with being a pedophile. That's all.

I'd have to do some research to find out who came up with it. But I think there's something to it. Maybe it's more about the fountain of youth.

Just so you know, I don't give a crap about someone's personal preferences as long as it's between consenting adults. But I do like to read about psychology and sexuality especially in the context of evolution.

I don't think it's a ridiculous notion.

Not so much that, as it make them less like men.

That's a good point too.

That's like saying guys who think girls with short hair are hot are actually trying to tell the world that they're gay, and they want to be with a man with boobs and no penis.

.....or something like that.

Not really. Lack of public hair is included in pedophile characteristics. Short hair and flat chest are not. Just like I mentioned in my first post, this doesn't necessarily mean that you're a pedophile, but there's a connection.

The term paedophilia erotica was coined in 1886 by the Viennese psychiatrist Richard von Krafft-Ebing in his writing Psychopathia Sexualis. He gave the following characteristics:

° The sexual interest is toward prepubescent youths only. This interest does not extend to the first signs of pubic hair.

° The sexual interest is toward prepubescent youths only and does not include teenagers.

° The sexual interest remains over time.

I don't think anyone here said anything about lack of pubic hair. This thread is about chest hair. I'm beginning to think you may have some issues. ;)

I'm not gay enuf to shave off/wax my chest hair.

:D

It has nothing to do with being gay, Prof. I have a more than a few straight guy friends who shave. It's just a preference, that's all. I think most people who shave do it for themselves, not others. I know that's why I do it.

You may want to re-read the thread. I came in late and it had already spread to underarm, groin, head, etc.

You just don't like what I'm saying, so you're personally attacking me.

mkrishnan Are we really going to start interpreting the modern world by what von Kraft-Ebbing said now?

Sorry. Only because he coined the term.
