I went to the apple store, i'm still in the 2 week period so they let me exchange it no questions asked

It's anodized aluminum, I would live with it because you'll get much larger blemishes in the first month of regular use.

Same issue with my SG sport, I ordered a replacement on friday june 12th, shipped same day, and it is being delivered today. Apple tells you that you may have to wait a couple weeks but you won't... they put you at the front of the line and ship it out ASAP

The Apple rep told me that they will only initialise an order for a replacement once the UPS pickup has been triggered. My watch went back today because the battery isn't charging

So, anyone already have a replaced watch? And if so, the new one is not chipped?

I took mine in today for the same exact chips in the same spot the op had. Everyone was super helpful, and after a bit of waiting the genius agreed to send it off for a replacement. They said it should take 4-5 days for the replacement, so I guess we'll see ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ugh, so after i got my replacement the face is perfectly fine now, but today when i was looking at the composite back i found a spec of dust that is caught underneath the glass... But i'll live with it since it isn't blocking any sensors and most of the time i won't see it, but still

Just noticed this on my SGS as well. Actually the second watch I've had this on. First one I sent back right away, this one I just noticed today for the first time and I'm outside the two week return window by 3 days. Think I'd have any luck calling in to  for this?

Well, just called Apple, they're sending a replacement out, no questions asked! Gotta love that customer service!
