Don't get me wrong - I like the movies about Silicon Valley, etc. But I don't want to watch a movie portraying a launch event that was actually filmed and lives on through YouTube.

We need the private stuff, the behind the scenes stuff, the engineering and bickering about font size and shades of black. I remain open to the concept, but initially, I have to give this version a thumbs down on premise.

I'm officially not interested in this film, at all, unless they (now) get Noah Wyle on board. He was the one guy that Jobs actually approved of portraying him on screen. Noah Wyle did an excellent job portraying Steve in "Pirates of Silicon Valley" and, by far, would be the best choice for this film.

The fact of the matter is, outside of this circle, there really isn't much interest in the life story of Steve Jobs.

Well this is disappointing. Bale is really intense and good at what he does.

so sad

Bale was so insanely and completely perfect, but I lost interest when they lost Fincher and took on Boyle as director instead.

Any movie which bases life of JObes in 2 moments ONLY and not important moments in his entire life is bound to be a failure

Any movie that tries to condense the entire life of Jobs into 90 minutes is also bound to be a failure. There's no way they can show every important event from his life.

I actually laughed out loud here. Bravo!

Not that Rogen is a bad actor, but he's more known for his role in comedies. He wasn't bad in 50/50, but he isn't going to be winning an Oscar anytime soon.

Who cares? Oscars are just political nonsense in the movie industry. I'd rather have a good movie than some Made-For-Oscar movie.

I would have said the same thing about Jonah Hill before Wolf of Wall Street and Moneyball. I'm not Jonah's biggest "fan" by any stretch - but he's done some good work.

I agree. I kinda think that Jonah is a bit more versatile as an actor than Rogen is. But both are very talented.
