For me, I prefer Safari. I love the ability to sync bookmarks across Macs AND my iPad and iPhone.

I don't notice a big speed difference between Safari and Chrome. Firefox seems much slower.

+1.
I was using chrome since it was released, both on my previous mac and windows laptops. But with OSX Lion, safari is a much better choice.
Chrome actually has the 2-finger swipe to go back/forward, but not with the same animation as safari, which makes it better. And safari is as fast as chrome now I believe.
But chrome is always a must-install app, for incognito browsing, if you get what I mean ;-)

hmm
I use Safari.

I use cmd+1,2,3,4,5,6 in Safari to open links from Bookmark Bar all the time and did not find if it is possible to change default Chrome/FF behavior keyboard shortcuts.

Also I don’t like the Chrome look without the status bar at the bottom.

What version of Lion are you using? Safari used more than 1.5GB of memory for me after a few hours before the 7.0.2 version. Now it stays under 500mb.

10.7.2, and Safari would often cross 1gb. Anyway, have been using Chrome on my Windows PC ever since it was launched and love it.

Firefox seems pretty slow to me in general compared to Chrome or Safari. I really love the new features in Safari and want to migrate to it from Firefox, but until I find something like Rikaichan, Firefox it is.

You could always use rikaikun, although it does at the moment lack some of the features that rikaichan have.

Well after reading this thread I switched to chrome :p
While I love the 2 finger swipe of safari, it does as mentioned use quite a bit of ram.
So I switched over to chrome today, and I feel it is pretty good. It takes less ram, and feels like it handles flash better. At the very least the temperature was lower, while playing in chrome, then while playing it in safari.

imo chrome for most things, FF when you're watching youtube/flash and don't want the silly ads;).

As far the swiping they all seem to work fine for me in chrome.

Yes, there is no problem with the swiping for chrome for me either. It is just the animation that I like better in Safari :p

I'm surprised no one has chimed in about Opera. I use two separate browsers, as I have a work and a home Google account. I started using Opera for my work stuff, and it really is quick. Anyone else using it?
