People will never be happy, now that you see the demo, you going to start getting all those post about when will it be release, why are they holding it, Why WHy Why Why...... and if they release with bug them..."they sucks" why did the released such a trash, blah blah blah. (Oh i forgot all the thread asking why the unlock hasn't been release yet if the untethered JB have been out already for 3 min...)
It's crazy, I am glad to see progress, they seen to have some issues with the Wifi icon and still working on the packaging.
I would not recommend aptbackup for anything. Better to use pkgbackup and chronus to get the app settings.
What problems have you had with aptbackup? Ive used it a few different times and I havent had any issues
Despite the poster above saying pkgbackup was a problem, you'll find numerous threads about the aptbackup issues. Also thelatinist states apt is a problem, and I tend to believe what he says. YMMV
Regarding 4.2.1, I don't think I'll ever leave 4.0.1. Printing I already have. Oh, and it works!
Because it gets old seeing people on the two teams bicker yet release nothing.
Good job. Not sure to upgrade to 4.2.1 or just stay at 4.1. Little nervous cause going from 4.0.1 to 4.1 caused some major havoc and it took awhile to get everything back the way I wanted.
I think that depends on the exploit...if its same exploit I can see Comex releasing his...but if its a different exploit he'll wait (id assume) for next firmware or perhaps even iOS5
No offense, but this is at least the second time someone has posted a message like this. Everything does not work perfect if you run Skype or have DRM protected books in iBooks.
Isn't he in jail yet? I was hoping for Sony to nail him down quick

I thought Skype was fixed in b6 and DRM books in iBooks is a problem with every JB.
I wont be surprised but he's probably busy with the Sony lawsuit.
I doubt Comex will release his JB. He's probably waiting for 4.3 and all the Verizon iphones to jump on board.
No, Skype was not fixed, there's a kluge which involves when you install it, either before or after the jb (I can't remember which). Since when has iBooks been a problem with every jb? I never had a problem with the last 2 jbs I did. Also there are reports of increased battery drainage with beta 6.
