I've been using GFN and I'm left unimpressed. I have bandwidth about 900Mbs and yet I constantly get warnings from GFN about slow network issues.Geforce NOW makes everything possible.
I think they did this because Civ 7 is not selling as well, and the publisher did this to get the game into more hands.Yawn 🙂.
Does anyone here like Civ 7 better than Civ 5 or 6 ?
Do you think the DLCs / other additions are important? I think arcade version is just the barebones.I bought the game on day one and love it. I played the game for hundreds of hours.
I also played Civ 6 and i like both games.
You should realy give it a try. 🙂
Becuse you joined the whine-wagon. There are a lot of great titles on Apple Arcade. The first game I’ve had any interest in for Apple Arcade. Cool!
The game is terrific. It has improved with updates as well. One of my favorites in the series and I've been playing them since the original released many years ago.
I envy being able to selectively choose specific Apple subscriptions ... if you are part of a large family with insane iCloud photo storage needs, there really is no logical option aside from an Apple One subscription. Apple pretty much forced that by the way they priced the storage options.
For Civ 7 you can ignore the DLCs for the moment.Do you think the DLCs / other additions are important? I think arcade version is just the barebones.
What's interesting is that many of those reviewers have glowing things to say about Civ VI. When Civ VI was released a lot of people hated it (there are still some who do). It had limitations and improved over time. That was also the case for Civ V.Take a look at its reviews on Steam for an idea from folks with loads of playtime
Seems like overall user reviews are negative and people on steam much prefer Civ VI over VIIWhat's interesting is that many of those reviewers have glowing things to say about Civ VI.
you get to pay a subscription?Someone fill me in on why Civilization 7 is so bad compared to other version?
They changed some of the core mechanics of the game. One of the most noted complaints is the civilization-switching between ages and the removal of traditional builders.you get to pay a subscription?
That's comparing a matured 10 year old game to a relatively recently released one. Civ VI is also regularly available for cheap (e.g., Humble Bundle currently has the Anthology version of Civ VI plus Civ V, IV, III, and other Sid Meier games for $15) so there are many more people who "own" the game.Seems like overall user reviews are negative and people on steam much prefer Civ VI over VII

Gaming on AppleTV is a complete non starter. Even games on the top of the line XBox Series X look like butt compared to even a mid gaming PC or the Steam Deck. Which is a mid gaming PC you can hold in your hand or dock to your TV.Retrocade doesn't run on Apple TV?? What kind of stupidity is this? Is there no one at Apple evangelizing Apple TV???
Between games like Retrocade and Tetris and Gauntlet, multi-player would be a HUGE Apple TV feature. Where are all the multiplayer 'board'-like games where players could interact using their individual iPhones/iPads? Or 'Excite Bike' games where the Apple TV becomes the dirt track overview and leaderboard and the phones become motion-based 'bike' controllers? All of the games I can find on the Apple TV App Store are 'physics mechanics' slop, NOTHING to the level of Nintendo NES or Wii. And those were HUGE American multi-player platform successes. Just so sad that Apple has let Apple TV wither… and its failure is obvious. Does no one at Apple realize that Apple TV's failure becomes a drag on Siri/HomeKit's success as well? Fools. Greedy stupid fools.
I think the writing on the wall is quite clear. Civ VII was not as well received as Civ VI. If a 10 year old game that has 5x more players then a game that is supposed to be an upgrade over it, then something is definitely off and it failed to live up to expectations - whether that's fair or not, I cannot say but its clear its fan base has largely voted no.That's comparing a matured 10 year old game to a relatively recently released one. It’s available in Steam, go for it?I just want to purchase individual games. Not in apps **** and not subscriptions.
1, Laptop broken. 2, I own it. 3, This has to with gaming on iPhone which I can take with me unlike laptop. 4. There shouldn’t be such predatory schemes for mobile gaming like windows regardless if it can be played and purchased elsewhere. It’s available in Steam, go for it?
Steam Deck is portable. Laptops can be taken with also. Kinda their whole point.1, Laptop broken. 2, I own it. 3, This has to with gaming on iPhone which I can take with me unlike laptop. 4.
