Yeah, and in my opinion, that looks terrible compared to the notch. The top and bottom bezels are asymmetric. And the placement of all of the holes for the various sensors and lenses just looks haphazard and much less elegant.
Stay cool, there will be conversion kits for Notch lovers/fundamentalists soon

Keep increasing the sizes!

I guess this is leading to a certain death of my favourite iPad mini. Shame

Apple should really start selling purses so people can carry these wannabe tablets around more easily.

Or, Lucas Mark, they could just make iPhoneSE all screen. It would be decent enough size for most of us. iPhone used to be perfect for one hand, now everything seems to be going OVERSIZED.

As someone who always purchased a plus model and now has the X, I can’t wait for the X plus!

If you could put a SIM card in an iPad pro, would you swap it for your phone? My question is, when is the phone screen going to be too big in your eyes?

I have iPhone 7 Plus and really wanted the X, but like using it in landscape mode. While the screen it larger on the X slightly, it is narrower, which I don't like. If this is true, then I guess I need to hold out for the X Plus or whatever it's going to be called.

I feel the same as well about the current X. ill wait it out. Only thing is the X plus might be $1500 Pus to buy lol

The mockups at the end of the article are screwed up. Whoever did then didn’t bother to think about how the notch works. So the mockups just enlarge everything to the larger sizes. In fact, the notch on the largest phone is the same size as on the smallest phone, giving more room for screen on the sides and bottom.

I mean, enough of us want an SE sized phone that I can't believe that Apple won't just make the same X phone in three sizes: "regular," plus and mini.

If they want to sell a cheaper phone, bring back something like the 5c. There are many of us who buy the SE because of size, not money. I'd spend $1K on an SE sized iPhone X tomorrow.

This really irks me. From the very beginning of the iPhone X rumors about Apple shrinking the bezels, I've been asking why they couldn't leave the Plus phone size as is and just increase the display area. I was fine with the size of the 7 plus. Now they're apparently going to do just that and release it as a "new generation" when it should have been released that way either instead of or alongside the X.

Also, if you're going to make the display that big, most of us would prefer a very slim bezel at the top instead of a notch.

Bigger, and bigger, and bigger... Come on Apple! Give us a 4,7" iPhone X!

Yeah, definitely. And I think this is for real, there are so many voices claiming the 6,5" size for a long time, and now this pictures that seem pretty legit (even though they are not blurry). We are going to have iPhablets

why not a 4? 4,7 is like iPhone 6, even the 6 is too big.

iPad Pro is too small. Would like a Cinema Display with dual sim.

Instead of? No. Alongside? Yes, fine.

I'm not sure what you're saying - there's a big bezel at the top and now you lose screen real estate because there's also a static status bar at the top. On the X the signal and battery is pushed up right into the corner, so the screen that is wasted here is usable. It's a much more practical use of the screen and IMO opinion it looks better too, but even if you don't think it does - then Apple have chosen function over form for once.
