Claimed Next-Generation iPad Cases Suggest Rear-Facing Camera, SD Card Slot?

Yes, I'm the one that said it but clearly people STILL can't read.
I predict:
* SD slot (thought that gap could just be for a speaker)
* Sharp-edged shape like the latest iPod Touch
* Apple’s big new data center will be to allow iPad ownership without a computer: it will back up your data. (Backups and OS updates are all an iPad can’t do alone. And OS self-updates are something Mac OS has been doing forever, so iOS can certainly handle that at some point.)

Looking forward to CES... can't wait to see what Apple does after the 1st of the year to steal the show (again).
P.S.... I know they don't go to CES, but they tend to announce new products during or right after that take the "buzz" away. Just wanted to be clear so I don't get hammered.

As I've said prior, if Apple does include an SD Slot, it'll be limited.
I speculate that it would work in much the same way as the SD Slot in the Camera Connector Kit, and just allow photos and videos to be transferred. Nothing more. Don't expect to be storing/transferring music and apps on it.

Another knock off
Those aren't "future iPad cases". They're from another Asian iPad knockoff. If you're familiar with Apple design and packaging, it's easy to spot the reasons it's fake.

These are cases for the iPad, not the iPad casing themselves.
But it's fun to speculate, and rumors always excite knowing the next gen iPad is around the corner
yo, imagine you sittin in starbux, facetiming with your gf and boom! lady gaga enters the starbux and your gf goes 'pics or it never happened'. boom! you tap on the 'switch cameras' button and boom! 100% proof. yo, now does you understand how important rear cam is.

Funny thread. I’m surprised that Apple has decided to ship their iPad as a bare circuit board, which you then buy your own shell for if you want. But clearly that’s what we see here DIY like the Apple I!

What the hell is the point of a rear-facing camera on something as big as an iPad? That's going to be really hard to get a nice picture on the thing.

Just picture it (little bad pun);
Some folks are posing for a family photo. Everyone who is taking photos gets out their cameras and iPhones, then one guy pulls out his iPad. I just don't see that happening.

I don't prefer the plastic but at least it wouldn't dent like Aluminum.

I'm sure all these new features will come one at a time. In reality all of these things could have easily been placed into the first generation iPad, but then people wouldn't buy superfluous accessories and upgrade to a new one every year.
I imagine we'll get the FaceTime camera and USB connectivity, first... rear-facing camera and SD card slot later... just to milk it a little more.
