I really would. She became very popular very quickly. She has had numerous number one songs in the US and in the UK. She was the first winner of American Idol. And it isn't watched only in the US. I have lots of friends that live outside the US that watch it all the time. I don't really watch Am. Idol but she is the first Idol contestant to have a number one hit in the UK.

Well, I don't watch American Idol. I don't follow who's got the number one song. So she hasn't done anything of interest to me.
Driving a pickup across the english channel... now that interests me. If she had done something like that, I probably would have known who she is.

the news section is cut out. it's difficult to understand what they're on about without the context and almost certainly impossible for non-british to understand. not to be rude but lots of jokes about british comedians and presenters who are mostly not heard outside europe. eg, people they have the strongest tendency to refer to include bill oddie, david attenborough, michael parkinson, adrian chiles, graham norton and etc etc

boys also like to joke about certain parts of britain, among their favourites are yorkshire, norfolk, cheshire, colchester, "the north"

You are aware that the video is a joke right. Dry British humor. I'd almost bet that Clarkson himself made it. It's hilarious.

Yeah, obviously! I'm just a huge Top Gear fan and hate to see Clarkson made fun of like that, no matter the intent. Well, maybe not a huge fan; I started watching it like a month ago but wake up early every day to watch one episode. It's addicting. I love the hosts that they chose. Each one has a unique personality that, when combined, makes for a GREAT show. Hammond's so... small and has a great sense of humor. On the other hand, Jeremy is really tall and loves power and making fun of the other two (jokingly, of course). Then, there's James. He's a little on the shy and quiet side, and always makes the wise choice. Ahhh, good old Top GEar!
