soo has anybody else noticed this? Grab the top of the phone with one hand and the bottom of it with the other and gently twist in opposite directions. for me, i hear a click coming from the left middle screen area. This worries me because im not sure if it compromises the water-resistance at all.

*side note* when i got the iPhone 5 on release day back in 2012, the top right of the screen wasn't sealed properly and i remember alot of people also had this issue. Apple replaced the first one but the problem was also on the replacement. the second replacement phone was fine

maybe not explicitly but the torsion would be similar to having it in your pocket while walking

This is kind of like putting your brand new house through an earthquake test, or taking your brand new Jeep on the Rubicon Trail.

Sure you can do those things, but have a little compassion for your new phone.

You are like that TV character who climbs on the roof, to jump on it and then report back if it will leak. The actual act of jumping will make it leak.

It's a good thing that we have people here willing to actually open their eyes and test their phones instead of just letting the Apple marketing team trick them into buying phones that can't handle a little twisting without making noises. #twistgate

I notice when I whack mine against my granite countertop that it makes kind of a weird ringing sound, I'm thinking of returning it.

lol well if the screen isn't sealed properly to the body indicated by the noise, then it isn't water resistant.. you know, like they advertised. so if my phone gets wet and water leaks in and it isn't covered, i'd be upset.

and all your metaphors suck btw. this isn't like i'm twisting my phone with 200 lbs of torque, it happens even with the slightest bit of torsion
