Pressing on my phone has no Sound. But I'm not going to twist my phone. Pressing on all four corners produces nothing.

I got my 7 plus on Sunday afternoon and noticed the sound when I got home and picked up the phone. No, I did not sit there and try to find odd issues with the phone. I took the phone back today for an exchange. As they are bringing out the phone I tried replicating the issue with a display model, which did make the same popping/ clicking noise when putting the phone under the slightest of pressure. New phone did not have the same issue. I don't care if all the other phones did it to "various extents", if something genuinely seems off with you $1,000 phone, take it back. Yes. Both phones were sealed and new.

maybe not explicitly but the torsion would be similar to having it in your pocket while walking

While I agree the title of this thread is not a good representation of the problem, these sarcastic comments are getting old, we are not doing anything extreme to get the phone to make this noise, it happens under normal use.

soo has anybody else noticed this? Grab the top of the phone with one hand and the bottom of it with the other and gently twist in opposite directions. for me, i hear a click coming from the left middle screen area. This worries me because im not sure if it compromises the water-resistance at all.

*side note* when i got the iPhone 5 on release day back in 2012, the top right of the screen wasn't sealed properly and i remember alot of people also had this issue. Apple replaced the first one but the problem was also on the replacement. the second replacement phone was fine

why are you treating your phone like a car sun shade?
