LOL!

Honestly, the Apple watch is so brutally ugly, no man with his testicles still attached should be wearing that lame crap.

Have to admit I do wear my AW most days for a short time but for no more
than checking the time. I quite like the look of the watch because it is so
different to my Rolex. Might find more uses for it if it didn't need the iphone.

Ha! :) a service for a Rolex alone costs $750-$1000
Gäll !?
There are smarter Swiss watch brands that cost much less, both to buy & service, but people buy Rolex for the brand recognition, same as Apple these days. I like quality manufacturing whether or not it's associated with a well-known brand. These days I'm embarrassed to show any Apple gear. My Macbook, iPhone, iPad are all covered with nice cases or decals covering the logo.

Watchbands... yawn. Anybody know what percentage *Macs* still have on *Mac*rumors.com ?

I swear the MR editors put this on the front page to troll their readers. This would normally be a "more stories" article.
Click/troll/rage-bait, to keep the ad $$ rolling in.
Very little Mac stuff lately.

Like this post if you don't care.

Like seriously, who cares about watch bands? I think Tim Cook is the only guy in the world who would show off watch bands and their new designs on a Keynote presentation.

I can't stress how much of a moron the guy is.

6 pages and nobody had responded to the top comment with facts :) So...

This article is NOT about the keynote presentation, nor Time Cook. The article clearly says these are third-party accessories, not from Apple.

But it's the top comment, so it seems people get really upset over things that are not even IN articles they don't even bother to skim...

In short, this is NOT evidence that Apple will have nothing meaningful to tell developers next week. If you're sure that it is (and many people on MR seem to be), then take a step back and consider :)

What a bunch of morons on this site.

Those are *not* Apple products, they're made by a third party, and that's a great thing. It means the Apple Watch is the only wearable device with an hardware ecosystem, quite an achievement for a nascent sector.

If you're not interested, then don't comment. You look like elder people yelling at what they don't understand.

I wish there where more people like you.

Made me wonder if some trolls are created to keep the heat... you know some fans will defend it. I remember a blogger who is trolling his own site too keep commentators quarreling/visiting. War is money.

Well this is coach making them not apple.

I'm aware this is not Apple making these bands.
Folks quoting my post implying the opposite are missing the point.
Read the post.

My thoughts, and my post, indicate my opinion on the entire watchband fallacy that Apple created, and the lack of credibility and reasonable concern for the restoration of credibility after repeated promotion of such a nonsensical and trivial accessory.

Band options are worthy, but the fake excitement is concerning and reckless.

Most android watch companies also have band replacements made by other companies. It's not really a nacent market either....as far as market development goes.

Based on the women I see around Atlanta who wear Apple Watches and carry Coach bags, plenty.
I have two Apple Watches and I have two Coach bags, both very understated and classic in style. I must say, these are hideous--none of the three shown represents a look I would associate with Coach...more like couch, as in Grandma's couch circa 1981.  I think that floral one is really throwing me for a loop.

I'll stick with the Sport bands.

I think apple has really grown too big for its boots. Pink laptops and flower watch bands are not innovative products. They are no longer a nimble company who can woo with new and exciting products. If memory and colour configurations are counted as products, apple has Hundreds of products. Just as it did in its failing years before Steve turned it around, had reduced it to just 4 products. Too many things, lack of focusing on what is actually important.

Apple is not making these, so it's not like they're diverting engineering talent that could be updating Mac hardware for making watch bands....and I don't think Coach is going to put out an updated MacBook...so no sense posting this request.

I know all that. That's just what I wish to see everytime I go to MR, but all I ever get are Watch Bands (yes, I know Apple doesn't make these).
