So we can reveal easily Safari saved password and other authentication by just waving our face? Sounds handy, but I still skeptical how it works against shoulder surfing especially in public workplaces.

Biometric function such as Touch ID on MBP are more practical since most device are used indoor, people no longer having hindrance such wearing glove or such, not mention I can stealthy performing device unlock and password authentication by just putting single touch without any suspicious notion. Just like built-in Yubikey.

Also keep in mind I am not sure FaceID method are available on headless Mac, probably MacBook and iMac exclusive.

The new Apple Silicon 12.4” Macbook will definitely be including biometric technology.

Would be about right., Apple can also use the time to implement other stuff "just the way they like" and say "we couldn't do it before because we didn't have the same flexibility we have now"

Perhaps it was just perfect timing Apple were to transition silicon..... We'll see if they do FaceID for Intel Mac's, but that would seem "out of order"
I can’t imagine Apple adding FaceID to the Intel models since it requires the neural processor currently only available in the A11 or later. Plus they’re not going to physically redesign the current models when there are Apple silicon versions coming within the next couple years.
