No thanks, I will just buy something similar to this for $10-$15 that is just as great and looks better imo. Apple cases are a rip off but the general public and apple fanatics cannot help themselves.

I bought knock off apple silicone cases from Ali Express before to get as close to the real thing as possible and everything from the packaging to the magsafe animation was spot on. Apple can go kick rocks all the way to the bank with fools money.

Press Release - AAPL - In our continued effort offset harmful cow farts, Apple will now be making 100% of it cases from recycled Hacky Sack balls from the 90's and early 2000's. We listened to the feedback from our customers on the Fine Woven cases durabilty and what is more durable than a fabric designed to be kicked repeatedly"

Apple is not going to backtrack on their environmental claims. Leather is very polluting, not only because of the overgrazing and deforestation issues linked to raising cattle, but also the tanneries that produce huge amounts of toxic waste.

Apple will not associate itself with the concept of wrapping their tech in dead animals. Good for them. But yeah, this fineWoven 2.0 looks garbage. I hope it's fake.
Ok i’m no expert on leathr manufacturing processes, but it might be worthwhile to explore alternative ways to make the leather more eco-friendly.

After all, it is one material you don’t need to manufacture since it’s a byproduct of meat industry. Textile production is not all that green either.

Also, the 2 holes on the bottom for a strap are what every 3rd party Chinese case has had in the past 5 years. These are probably non Apple.

Sure. But leather isn’t simply a byproduct of meat, it’s a co-product with its own billion-euro industry. Hides are traded globally, animals are sometimes bred for skin quality, and the sale of leather boosts the profitability of cattle ranges and slaughterhouses. This makes leather an active driver of animal farming and those toxic tanning industries, not just a harmless way of using waste.

I call BS, the buttons look way off, nothing looks APPLE quality in these.

I fully agree. Even the name ‘Techwoven’ sounds like some knock off product, and also hasn’t been registered as a trademark anywhere by Apple. I’m suprised more isn’t been done to verify this and it’s just being posted like it’s fact.

Still they did make those terrible FineWoven cases, which are the same colours. Again making me think these are a knock off
