Instead of reinventing the wheel, why don’t they bring back leather? I don’t see this working very well.

Apple should bring back leather. Offset the cow's fart by planting a tree.

Apple is not going to backtrack on their environmental claims. Leather is very polluting, not only because of the overgrazing and deforestation issues linked to raising cattle, but also the tanneries that produce huge amounts of toxic waste.

Apple will not associate itself with the concept of wrapping their tech in dead animals. Good for them. But yeah, this fineWoven 2.0 looks garbage. I hope it's fake.

While the case would provide pretty good grip, I'm not that crazy about the aesthetic, especially when you factor in what will probably be the $59 USD price. Glad I don't have to worry about buying one as I'm sticking with my 16PM.

I can't that imagine anyone who made the mistake of FineWoven will be buying one.

I still have a leather case on my phone, the only difference is that Apple didn't sell it to me.

They are 100% fake, they have a cut out for the camera control. Another fan of the old Apple leather cases here.

They look plastic-y and not very pleasing to the touch. But unable to tell properly until they've been tested.

If there were no other case options, I'd be seriously re-thinking the idea of buying a 17!

(Of course, I know there will be lots of third-party options.)

Truly horrible. I like quite bright colours for cases. Currently a nice red leather on my 15PM.

Already damaged in the picture on the side shot picture at the bottom of the green one lol

Yeah. An why would anyone buy an original $50 Apple case when you can get a cheaper, better one from Amazon for $4.99?
Sorry, I have been purchasing Apple Silicone cases since they have been release and haven't had an issue. A couple of years ago I tried a cheap Amazon case. Thing was pealing in less than a month.

Yes, Apple cases are expensive when compared to cheap Amazon cases, but they quality is no way near that of Apples, at least in my experience.

They don't look very sanitation-friendly.

I had that exact thought. Just what you want, a case that absorbs everything from every surface you place it on, and everything on your hands. Disgusting.

Don't the designers at Apple think about these kinds of issues?
Not when you have your priorities completely out of whack. Tim cares more about saving a buck, and virtue signaling for nonsense.
