Thats not exactly a bug. It wouldn't look all that good if everything in the icon was orange. Plus icons don't exactly always look exactly the same as everything in the app. I guess it's an "inconsistency", but there are worse ones, like the Safari or Settings icon.In the icon the = key is grey. In the app it's orange.![]()

More than likely because it would look a bit odd all orange, or at least not as good. Not all of the icons are representative of their apps UI and that's obvious as you've pointed out. The home screen is a mix of icons that represent what the app does and icons that represent the UI of the app (dome do both). The Calculator icon, though, is obviously attempting to represent the apps UI (and what it does as well) so why is the icon misrepresenting the UI?
Honestly so tired of the "Steve Jobs wouldn't have done this or that" mantra that everyone is constantly repeating.

They can but that might not make much sense either since all the numbers are gray and the various operators are orange. They can make the = icon in the calculator app gray.
Steve wouldn't let it. If he were still here... I still wonder what iOS would be like today if he was here.
Wouldn't have that awful new Mac Pro. Thing looks like a trash can.
Since beta 3, my phone no longer receives calls, gets very laggy every few hours, has wallpaper glitches, and has shut itself down several times.
Very anxious for beta 4.

Hey, guys, who can confirm the shedule of beta 4 releasing? If it is Monday, then I will now upgrade from beta 2 to beta 3, and then wait a day or two to upgrade to beta 4. Frankly, i'm now pretty free with nothing to do, ha ha.
But not the same color as the numbers, as that would make even less sense. Why not? If you wanna get picky he UI is the problem. I think the = should have a different color in the app. The x - + and divide are arithmetic functions while the = simply gives the result and should not have the same color. So I think the icon is right but on the app the = and the orange color should be a different color

From what I've gathered, most features work "as promised", general stability has to be improved. At this rate, we could have a beta 5, and then the GM. Would make sense for a presentation in August, and release in September.
1. Siri does not seem to listen and will shut her self off when I am telling her something.
