Actually, @comex tweeted out a couple hackers who were assisting with different parts, chpwn was one, I have forgotten the rest.
For what it is worth.
I may have quoted that tweet somewhere in this thread but it's not too much worth searching for by now.

Well, go take a cold shower. I'm a bit impatient, but I'm not going to let it rule my life. Now, I need to go make some more coffee to ween myself off of energy drinks staying up waiting for this.:p
Waiting? It might not even be released today.

To bad the fake site looks 100 % better then the real one. Someone should design a site for him.

The minimalistic look is what those guys go for. Once he releases the iP4 jailbreak, thousands upon thousands of people will be hitting his website to download it. If his website was loaded down with graphics and ads then the site would crash....or his bandwidth charges would go wayyyy up.

So that his host can be overwhelmed with hundreds of thousands of people downloading his pretty graphics? He had a pretty website before the Spirit release, and it completely crashed under the load.

So you have covered both options

Comex is doing it all himself

Or he has help.

Guess that's one way to claim you were right ??
Please quote where I said I was right. The exact, direct words saying that.

Damn....

Agreed. People only go to that site for one reason (at least the ones who dont blow up the comments section).

For those who are curious, I believe the bootstrap referred to here is is a minimalistic version of Cydia which will download/upgrade the latest version of the larger Cydia components. It's a way of keeping the jailbreak installer up-to-date without having to update it each time there are Cydia upgrades.
