Are you telling me you have NEVER pirated anything before?

Never downloaded a song before, or application?
The issue here is not whether you or I choose to pirate apps, movies, music, etc. The issue is that the upthread poster did not seem to believe that doing so is a crime.

When you circumvent paying for a service via your provider because you don't see eye to eye with them on what you should be paying for that service, and instead, modify your device and use an unethical app to do it anyways, is certainly stealing and at the very minimum, extremely unethical.

Whatever makes you feel better as you're stealing someone's app. You still have not mentioned the source for your sweeping condemnation of all jailbreakers. Although, people who steal apps is probably a small, tight group so maybe every person you know does behave the same way you do. I can just imagine the Installous forum where all the criminals make posts containing more and more intricate ways to justify their behavior.

Sure he does. :rolleyes::D

Just because he doesn't know the difference between violating a Terms Of Service agreement and stealing is no reason to think he doesn't have a source to back up ego inflated, blanket statements.

I don't use tethering because I have no need for it, but from what I've read, most people are unwilling to pay AT&T because they're charging you for accessing the same amount of data you've already paid for, but in a different manner. It's akin to an ISP charging for using wireless instead of Ethernet. I think that if AT&T gave people a good reason for the $20 charge (such as additional data for tethering), then the use of MyWi would decrease. As it stands, it seems like AT&T is charging for something their customers have already paid for. I guess I'm wondering how you steal something you're already paying for.

Doesn't matter why the poor guy stole the bread. He still stole it.

I don't need to feel good about stealing an app. I feel good when I know I have 5 extra bucks to buy a beer when I'm out with my boys. I simply have no care when it comes to pirating apps. Just don't care.

You're an idiot if you don't think the majority of iphone jailbreakers do so for:

A) pirating apps
B) tethering

Both of which are illegal or ToS violations.

you are an odd one Hunter, you talk about stealing apps but then rag on people for tethering.

you are an odd one Hunter,

That's an understatement. He's only interested in himself. I'd rather have 5 people start threads asking when the next jb is coming out than arrogant, smug thieves who are so craven they'd steal $5.00 from a developer, which the anonymity of the Internet allows. Cowards like this wouldn't have the cajones to do it any other way.

Oh, I'm not ragging on anyone. Just saying, tethering is as illegitimate of use for jailbreaking as pirating apps is. Only difference is who you're stealing from.

You're right, if I can't get it for free, I'll pony up or simply go without.

You're the one talking about it you goof ball, those are your thoughts and words. I wasnt aware and was surprised people were still pirating Apple store apps. YOU are the one putting THIS OUT THERE. I was was talking with dukebrown about "piracy" in general.

You have completely missed the point. In your previous posts, you have championed people engaging in criminal activity, and you were called on the carpet for this. Understand the fact that moral turpitude is not a way of life for everyone on the Internet.
